Very comfortable apartment, nice kitchen and great shower. The owner left us plenty of little things which made a real difference, including water, cookies, and everything needed in the kitchen. Location was perfect for nice country walks or access to the rest of the area. Loved seeing the ponies and donkeys just across the road.

Being tucked away with just a couple of horses for neighbours, in a stylish and immaculately clean studio, a stones throw from the heathland was perfect. We were asked about dietary requirements in advance and just hoped we might get some nondairy milk, we got so much more - mushrooms, bread, jam, marmite, plant based butter (not marg), cereal, granola, berries, orange juice, tea and coffee and all good quality (Waitrose). Honestly excellent :)

We had just booked the double room which was very comfortable with a great selection of teas, coffees and hot chocolate in the drinks making area, a small fridge which was an added bonus and plenty of space for clothes storage with extra seating on chairs for just chilling out!

We loved everything about this charming petit hotel. The location was spectacular, the decoration and atmosphere were beautiful and rustic, and the breakfast area was very cozy. The room felt like something out of a storybook, with a super modern bathroom and a spacious shower with excellent water pressure. The bed was very comfortable, the cleanliness was impeccable, and the staff were outstanding—friendly, attentive, and always ready to recommend places to visit or eat. The staff were all very friendly, professional, and helpful. We had dinner in the restaurant and everything was great. The bed and comforter and pillows are super comfortable and it was the best night's sleep we got in over a week. The shower was great, the toiletries and towels were great. It was all wonderful. The location is convenient for walking to the Quay, shops, restaurants, etc. We drove to the Isle of Wight Ferry parking lot to take the ferry over for the day which was easy and convenient. We had stayed here before and will come back again.

Beaulieu is a lovely area and if you like horses and donkeys...

Beaulieu is a lovely area and if you like horses and donkeys you will love it. The village i itself is very clean and pretty with lots of lovely places for coffee etc. All the people I met wee extremely friendly and helpful. There is also the Motor museum and other places to see but we were mostly cycling around and it’s great for that

Beautiful, picture box village in the New Forest.

Beautiful, picture box village in the New Forest. It had lakes, walks some interesting shops including a fabulous farm shop. The biggest attraction was the National Motor museum which besides all the interesting cars had a monorail, vintage bus rides, old abbey, a palace house (old family home), Victorian and kitchen gardens, lovely walks and an excellent cafe/restaurant.

Beaulieu village is a wonderful, characterful little place...

Beaulieu village is a wonderful, characterful little place with very friendly residents. It is perfectly placed for exploring the New Forest and 2 mins drive away from the Palace of Beaulieu . I fell in love with the place. There are some lovely little shops and cafes but I would definitely recommend The Beaulieu Bakery for lunch - delicious food and friendly, cheerful staff.

The place was spot on for us, walks peaceful setting river view easy to visit the sea & also to see lots of New Forest ponies. A few cafes, plenty of eateries around the area of Beaulieu too yum! The Pig in the Forest near by for excellent food if you want to really treat yourselves. Plenty of pubs for refreshments too in the New Forest. Beaulieu itself has a Palace to visit but only a small hamlet in itself.

It is a charming area with lots of interesting places to...

It is a charming area with lots of interesting places to visit to suit varied tastes. The village had shops which sold locally grown produce and seemed environmentally aware also had a friendly atmosphere. Beulieu is very near Exbury Gardens which are fantastic generally but particularly for the Azaleas and Rhododendrons in April and May.

It was actually East Boldre we stayed but it was really in Beaulieu. It is well placed to reach anywhere. Many places of interest on the doorstep. We went 20th June and there were loads of foals and young donkeys who were so cute. I love the fact that animals have the right of way - and humans have to wait for them to move. We visited Brockenhurst, Lyndhurst, Ringwood, Beaulieu car museum and Bucklers Hard and they were all worth a visit. Many picturesque villages in the New Forest.

I booked very last minute for a couple of nights break. Very warm welcome from Rowena and her friendly dog! Made me feel very welcome throughout the stay. Cosy and clean farmhouse with a lovely breakfast and spotless room. The house was in a great location with walking routes around the forest right outside and a short walk into the centre of Beaulieu. Will definitely be back to stay soon!

A very comfortable cabin in a very nice and quiet location in New Forest - right in the middle of the heathland and a stone's throw from Beaulieu, where the beautiful eponymous estate and palace house are located, not to mention the exceptional National Automobile Museum. Five stars.
