Dating back to the 15th century, The Bull and Townhouse - Beaumaris is Grade II listed, with a traditional bar and a stylish restaurant. Located in Beaumaris, it offers free Wi-Fi access. We loved our four poster Mr Pickwick's room. The staff were fantastic and food and ambience excellent. Would definitely stay again. Had a lovely walk round the town and bought a few items. Just so nice
Offering a range of properties set in 6 acres of gardens and woodland, Tros yr Afon lies on the Isle of Anglesey’s eastern coast. Lovely crisp, clean bedding aiding a restful sleep. Really lovely clean and soft towels of different sizes. Nicely aired and fresh. Superb location for discovering such a beautiful island. Well equipped with crockery etc,
Loved the castle, Gaol and courthouse. Very friendly locals Lovely walks Liverpool Arms was lovely for choice of food, tasty food, lovely friendly waiting on staff and safe Covid standards throughout
Lovely pleasant town with many places of interest - if wanting to visit castle ensure you pre-book. The Gaol (Prison) is well worth visiting. Unfortunatly the boats weren't operating until 19th Sept - after we left, so we weren't able to go to Puffin Island. Nice walks along the coast and country. Highly recommend the Liverpool Arms for a lovely meal at a resonable price - if the lamb shank is on the specials menu its a must have.
As a child I went on holiday here every year to Beaumaris...thankfully it hasn't changed much...for a small town it really punches above its weight...medieval castle...Victorian gaol...17th century courthouse...pier...nice walks...great shops...I particularly like Robert's bakery behind the church...fresh bread and cakes...if you've never been before the real joy is exploring and discovering your own favourite places...enjoy.
Beautiful place, very clean, great sight seeing and not far to other attractions. Would recommend this place to anyone, especially south stack. Would recommend a visit to the Liverpool arms pub/restaurant, excellent good and service.
Great little town with a fantastic castle and gaol both well worth a visit, and enjoyed had a lovely boat trip with Seacoast safaris to see the seals on Puffin island. Lots of lovely independent shops and cafes. We particularly enjoyed the Castle garden plant shop (worth exploring their beautiful hidden gardens) and the Red Boat ice cream parlour.
Nice little town with castle. Not much open at the moment but have visited before. Fish and chip shop open so had some and sat on the prom! Hopefully when things are back to normal more pubs etc will be open for business.
