Fox House is a beautiful old Scottish farmhouse. Our room was really spacious and beautifully furnished. There is a very good heater to keep the room cosy. The bathroom is also large and very nicely presented. Our breakfasts were exceptional and served with a friendly chat.

This is what you look for when you travel to Scotland. What a great place to stay and what does Ailie make you directly feel at home. The hospitality drips from every move she makes, every breath she takes ( someone should make a song of that) The environment of the B&B is very nice, the B&B itself is very cozy and clean. The lady of the house serving our ( splendid!) breakfast, the constant smile she magically painted on our faces. If there's a place to start a round trip through: look no further... this is it!

We attended a Golden Wedding event in Kilbirnie next to...

We attended a Golden Wedding event in Kilbirnie next to Beith but could not find a hotel. This is a Youth Hostel and definitely not what we were looking for. There was no hot water and the window in the dining room did not close. It has clearly Ben broken into at some point. NOT for us thank you, we will not be returning

Small but pretty, welcoming people Good bus and rail connections to Glasgow ( 25min ) dog friendly pubs 3 pretty churches, sports museum, 20min from the coast and the library even has function rooms! .
