This family-run hotel is tucked away in a residential area but still within easy distance of Leeds and Bradford, and is renowned for its service, friendliness, excellent cuisine and hospitality. Very easy to locate ... fabulous setting the gardens were awesome and full of nature. Parking on site. Good Food and awesome staff who made me feel very welcome.
Weavers Cottage is located in Bingley and offers a garden. Guests staying at this holiday home have access to a fully equipped kitchen. The holiday home has a TV and 3 bedrooms. The property was in pristine condition when we stayed. Everything about the cottage was to a high standard. The location was stunning, being peaceful with views out over the farm and moors from both front and back, whilst at the same time having good access to the facilities in the Aire Valley. The owners couldn’t have been more friendly and welcoming. We would stay here again without hesitation.
Cliff Cottage is set in Bingley and offers a garden and a terrace. The accommodations is 8.1 mi from Bradford, and guests benefit from complimentary WiFi and private parking available on site. Lovely and cosy cottage. Great little sauna too. Hosts where very friendly. Thanks again Steve. Would highly recommend staying here
World Heritage Millworkers Cosy Cottage WIth Wood Stove is located in Saltaire. The property is 3.7 miles from Bradford. Everything, it was spotlessly clean and the perfect place for me to stay overnight in Saltaire. Such a beautiful cottage, amazing windows, fire and furnishings..I loved it!
2 Victoria Park is located in Shipley. The property is 3.3 miles from Bradford, and complimentary private parking is available. The property was clean which gave us peace of mind in these current times. Modern and the extra touches like milk in the fridge and tea coffee and sugar was nice.
Bingley was a most pleasant surprise to us. It is within a very short train journey from Leeds, seems to have excellent bus services - we saw many buses going to Bradford and Leeds. There is a respectable amount of restaurants and eateries. We ate at the Old White Horse Brasserie on Valentine's Day, which was an awesome experience. We also had lunch at the Brown Cow just along the road from the Old White Horse and the food, service and ambience were also all of a very high standard. It seems that Bingley is the place to go if you need a hairdresser. I have never seen so many barbers and hairdressers in such a short distance! You can also visit the Three and Five Rise Locks on the Leeds and Liverpool canal. We didn't manage the Five Rise due to the highly inclement weather, but the Three Rise was neat (see photo), located as it is near the Damart buildings and with a lovely view down the valley.
Locks are fascinating, town looks good but we didn't spend time in Bingley. Keighley Creative Centre had an excellent art exhibition. Salts Mill at Saltaire is amazing, needs at least half a day and could spend more time there. It's a lovely part of the country.
I was working in Keighley for a couple of days but did have the chance to visit nearby towns and while rather bleak (it was raining heavily). I have not been put off and will try and visit the area again.
The brown cow pub for excellent food and a relaxing drink by a cosy fire. Sharma curry house where you take your own alcohol. White horse pub, very cosy. Lovely Myrtle park on the river. Lovely surroundings with canal, river, woodland and parks. Shops all ok.
We greeted by friendly staff on arrival nothing was too much to ask. There was a wedding in full flow but they went the extra yards to ensure our stay was comfortable. The rooms were a very nice surprise with a four poster bed and all amenities available. We had booked to go to the Bingley Festival which was a two minute taxi ride away. I would recommend a stay at Bingley it's a quaint village/town with all the oldy world feel as if you have stepped back in time. This is in no way a complaint it was more tribute to how nice the place is
A very pretty town and a short pleasant walk from the famous Five Rise Locks on the Leeds Liverpool Canal. The downside is the constant noise of traffic, however the views all around are stunning and on a longer stay the walking would be terrific
