Set in Blockley, Crown Hotel Cotswold has a restaurant, bar, shared lounge, and free WiFi throughout the property. Private parking can be arranged at an extra charge. Breakfast excellent, room comfortable, evening meal excellent. A very warm welcome from all staff. My family's first get together for almost 2 years. Great place to rendezvous.

We also liked hearing the sheep as they grazed nearby. We also liked the decor of the property - although a very old building, it was very modern in furnishings etc. Very comfortable.

The village of Blockley is beautiful and, I understand, the BBC use it as one of the location s for their Father Brown series. It is peaceful and tranquil. The local pub, The Great Western Arms, was an absolute god-send during my stay as the hotel I had booked in to (The Crown) had dining facilities whatsoever, something they neglected to tell either prior to my arrival or during check-in.

Blockley is a good place to stay because it is near all the other villages to visit.It is very quiet so you do need transport to go places. We ate in Chipping Campdon which is very near and also the Crown hotel in Blockley

This is a very interesting small village siutuated between Morton in the Marsh and Chipping Camden. The Crown Hotel is situated in a quiet part of thge village so we gfot a good nights sleep. Plenty to see and do in the area. Excellent Arts & Crafts Museum in Chipping Camden. Broadway and Stow in the Wold, both not far away. Several National Trust and English Heritage propertises in the area are woth a visit. However not all are open at the present time. There is a steam railway near by, an aircraft museum on the outskirts of Morton in the Marsh.

Blockley is definitely a base to explore other parts of the Cotswolds in. There isn’t anything in the village itself really and the Hotel bar closes at 10pm so if you’re a late night stayer upper .. stay somewhere else.

Really charming village...around quiet peaceful....and star night time ...milion😉 If you want find some history....natural place quiet...you are really will came a good place....its so many things to look arround and in the village...you need stay at least 2 weeks to explore half of that

Blockley is a very peaceful place off the main road. It has two brooks, lovely houses full of character, and is in a lovely vale setting, making it great for a relaxed wander. It has a village shop and lovely cafe, and you get a sense of community. Altogether a great place to relax and unwind.

From $193 per nightFrom the moment we arrived at Rattys Retreat, we knew this was going to be a special week. There were flowers and a bottle of bubbly waiting for us and rose petals on the bed. The cottage is beautifully decorated and has a lovely new kitchen. There is also a nice little garden for you to relax in. Blockley is a very quaint village with a really nice cafe/wine bar and pub that sells lovely food. Will definitely be back.
