Featuring barbecue facilities and a paved garden, Pearl Cottage provides accommodations in Blockley with free WiFi and garden views. This holiday home features a terrace as well as a shared lounge. The cottage was a home from home, had everything you needed and, if it didn't, you could nip to the Village shop. Fantastic location too, lovely walks from the doorstep.
Ratty's Retreat is located in Blockley and offers a garden and a terrace. The accommodations is 30 mi from Worcester, and guests benefit from complimentary WiFi and private parking available on site. A very relaxing place. So many extra items there that we did not expect. eg books, info on the area, cooking items, the lovely flowers in the vase. It was so nice to go somewhere that you felt like you were at home. Thank you for the goodies left, biscuits and wine. It was very clean and everything was there that you could want. Close to everything. Local shop. Lovely area to explore from. No noise. We never got to use the outside area because of the weather but that looked lovely as well. Thank you so much. Guests from Perth, Australia. (Pity we did not live closer as we would return)
Middle Rose is located in Blockley. The accommodations is 30 mi from Worcester. We liked Middle Rose because it was located in a quiet street in a very quiet village. We also liked hearing the sheep as they grazed nearby. We also liked the decor of the property - although a very old building, it was very modern in furnishings etc. Very comfortable.
Located in Blockley in the Gloucestershire region, Boutique Chic in Blockley has a garden. The property is set in a very pretty quiet village. It is beautiful, comfortable, clean and cosy. The hosts have provided everything you need for a perfect stay. Milk in the fridge on arrival and beautiful local biscuits were a lovely touch. As expected with a Cotswold village location, there is little phone reception but with high speed internet that is no problem. When you are trying to get away from it all, WiFi is not essential but it is a nice bonus. The kitchen is well stocked, the living room perfect - we loved the addition of the board games, just wished we had enough energy at the end of a day in the fresh air to play any of them! The bed was so very comfortable and the shower was hot and powerful. We really appreciated the good, clear instruction from the owner on how to find the property. Great stay in a beautiful cottage. Everything you need for a relaxing break. Highly recommend. We look forward to returning.
The village of Blockley is beautiful and, I understand, the BBC use it as one of the location s for their Father Brown series. It is peaceful and tranquil. The local pub, The Great Western Arms, was an absolute god-send during my stay as the hotel I had booked in to (The Crown) had dining facilities whatsoever, something they neglected to tell either prior to my arrival or during check-in.
Blockley is a good place to stay because it is near all the other villages to visit. It is very quiet so you do need transport to go places. We ate in Chipping Campdon which is very near and also the Crown hotel in Blockley
This is a very interesting small village siutuated between Morton in the Marsh and Chipping Camden. The Crown Hotel is situated in a quiet part of thge village so we gfot a good nights sleep. Plenty to see and do in the area. Excellent Arts & Crafts Museum in Chipping Camden. Broadway and Stow in the Wold, both not far away. Several National Trust and English Heritage propertises in the area are woth a visit. However not all are open at the present time. There is a steam railway near by, an aircraft museum on the outskirts of Morton in the Marsh.
Blockley is definitely a base to explore other parts of the Cotswolds in. There isn’t anything in the village itself really and the Hotel bar closes at 10pm so if you’re a late night stayer upper .. stay somewhere else.
Really charming village...around quiet peaceful....and star night time ...milion😉 If you want find some history....natural place quiet...you are really will came a good place....its so many things to look arround and in the village...you need stay at least 2 weeks to explore half of that
Blockley is a very peaceful place off the main road. It has two brooks, lovely houses full of character, and is in a lovely vale setting, making it great for a relaxed wander. It has a village shop and lovely cafe, and you get a sense of community. Altogether a great place to relax and unwind.
