No.4 The Old Coach house is set in the heart of Blockley, built in the 18th century. Comfy, clean and beautifully decorated. Great communications from the owner and excellent location right in the middle of the village, just steps away from a café that serves amazing eggs benedict and a village shop for picking up nice wine and even cook a hearty dinner. The towels smell really nice, and there was an easter egg, small toys and a sticker book for the kids, and a box of yummy biscuits and locally sourced fruitcake waiting for us when we arrived. Was a really lovely touch.
The Old Coach house is set in the heart of Blockley, which was built in the 18th Century. The whole apartment is finished to a quality standard with all the little touches to make it feel homely. It was perfect for our New Years Eve night away. Cosy, warm and the location is amazing.

Featuring barbecue facilities and a paved garden, Pearl Cottage provides accommodations in Blockley with free WiFi and garden views. This holiday home features a terrace as well as a shared lounge. This was our second time at Pearl Cottage, we simply love it here. It feels like our home away from home. Place is always clean and kitchen is well supplied with things you need to cook with. Thank you Linda for being a wonderful and gracious host!
Located in Blockley, Middle Rose provides self-catering accommodations with a patio and free WiFi. The vacation home features garden views and is 30 miles from Worcester. We liked Middle Rose because it was located in a quiet street in a very quiet village. We also liked hearing the sheep as they grazed nearby. We also liked the decor of the property - although a very old building, it was very modern in furnishings etc. Very comfortable.
Ratty's Retreat is located in Blockley and offers a garden and a terrace. The property is 29 miles from Worcester, and guests benefit from complimentary WiFi and private parking available on site. A very relaxing place. So many extra items there that we did not expect. eg books, info on the area, cooking items, the lovely flowers in the vase. It was so nice to go somewhere that you felt like you were at home. Thank you for the goodies left, biscuits and wine. It was very clean and everything was there that you could want. Close to everything. Local shop. Lovely area to explore from. No noise. We never got to use the outside area because of the weather but that looked lovely as well. Thank you so much. Guests from Perth, Australia. (Pity we did not live closer as we would return)
Pretty, friendly village ideal as a base for walking and touring the area. Two pubs to get meals from and a very good cafe that turns bistro on Friday and Saturday evenings with a very good menu (booking needed).
The village is gorgeous but very small with practically nothing to do, except going to other places. When it rained, the smell of the nearby farms came very strong with the stink of the cattle and sheep excrement which wasn't nice at all!
Blockley is a pretty village, but overseas visitors should be aware that rural locations do not have good transport available. The church is worth a visit & is spectacularly lit up at night. There is a local shop & post office, & an adjacent restaurant with good food open a few evenings a week.
What a pretty village... I thought once I had veered from Moreton-on-Marsh and Bourton-on-Water, I would be in a dull little vilage, but nothing could be further from the truth. Beautiful buildings, pretty country village, truly lovely
Nice quite hotel in small village. Very quite at night so got a good nights sleep. Staff very friendly. Had evening meal in the bar and was quite good. Blockly is a small village and most pleasent to walk around.
Great "real" village in the heart of the Cotswolds. If you want to feel a part of the countryside then this is the place to visit. Small and intimate, yet it seems to have everything - walking, views, history and very friendly people. At the expense of having it gain more (or too much) popularity I'd rank it as a place to stay a few days on any trip through this part of the Cotswolds.
Beautiful accommodation fabulous location ➕ The whole place was outstanding. The coach house was lovely and clean and the decor was amazing. We could not fault anything It was perfect. A lot of time has been put in to making this place beautiful would highly recommend visiting Blockley and no 4 the coach house. Can’t wait to return.
Beautiful designed and equipped apartment in the centre of the village, with a shop and cafe next door. Really made us feel like we were 'away from it all' very comfortable bed and luxuriously appointed throughout, whilst still feeling homely. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
We liked Middle Rose because it was located in a quiet street in a very quiet village. We also liked hearing the sheep as they grazed nearby. We also liked the decor of the property - although a very old building, it was very modern in furnishings etc. Very comfortable.
Great location - very private but you can walk to the Blockley shop! Very warm inviting welcome upon arrival. Good amenities in cottage, very clean & comfortable bed. Enjoyed our stay in Ratty's Retreat!
very nice guy at the reception (Attila). Nice location (after the church right hand side). Nice Cotwold village. Parking available-free of charge.
The village of Blockley is absolutely delightful, as was everyone we met outside the hotel. So much history.
