Very easy to get to. Loads of space and well lit at night too! Upon us arriving there was a really nice smell inside the cabin and there was a little hamper with biscuits, breakfast options, walkers crisps & a full loaf of bread & also fresh eggs. The cabin was very spacious with a bedroom, toilet/shower and the the sofa is also a sofa bed. WiFi & tv with all the cooking facilities you will really need. Stayed elsewhere on the island for ridiculous amounts of money and this women has topped it. Hand written information for local places to eat etc too. Genuinely happy to return next time i visit. Absolutely value for money and the women and gee dog daisy are super friendly too!

The house was a perfect representation of old meets new with lots of charm and character! It was very well provisioned, with all you need and more in the kitchen, additional chargers for all mobile phones, a smart tv, Alexa’s all around, lots of cleaning supplies, board games (including a Lewis chess board!), books, just everything you might need for your stay and more! There were lots of interesting ornaments around the property giving it a splash of an authentic traditional home, with all we would use in a modern home. We were provided with a coffee machine (including pods), ground beans and french press, teas bags and a lovely basket of Scottish goodies including, porridge, jam, chocolate, biscuits etc. The location was ideal. It was a short walk from beautiful beaches and the famous Butt of Lewis. There were plenty of places to eat/drink including a quirky cafe. We enjoyed watching the lambs running around the Croft across the road. There were sea views from the property on a clear day and a lovely window at the top of the stairs with a day bed to take in the views. The WiFi was great and there was good data and reception in the area. The host was very kind and helpful and which made our stay!
