Jackie is the perfect host and this place is absolutely beautiful, clean and exceptionally well maintained. Breakfast was an added bonus and so delicious. Tran station is only a 9 minute walk away and town center and beach is only 20-25 min walk away. Everything was perfect and our stay was extremely comfortable. We will be back.

Lovely area with so many things to do, so close to the beach, new forest, cities and cute little towns and villages. Highly recommend: Corfe Castle, Durdle Door, Sandbanks, Mulligans Crazy Golf, Compton Acres (best place!) 1805 for the best asian food!

My stay was at Southbourne, just outside Bournemouth centre. I have visited the area on many occasions so didn't visit the main town on this occasion. However, the beaches along the coast are very good so there is plenty to do by the water and inland. I had an excellent meal at a newly-opened Italian restaurant called Villa Toscana and I thoroughly recommend it.

This was our first time visiting Bournemouth and I think we got very lucky with the Brooklands Lodge! The rooms were exceptionally clean, very comfortable, and the staff were amazing - so friendly and eager to help. They went above and beyond to make our stay so enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Bournemouth, the beach is pretty much on your doorstep and the restaurants are literally a stones throw away - perfect location, reasonably priced...perfect stay!

The hotel is a bit dated and the room we were allocated was small plus the bed was not a standard double bed. Location was good on the top of West Cliff and an easy walk into Bournemouth. We didn't eat breakfast in the hotel so we cannot comment. All the hotel staff we met were friendly and willing to assist with any requests.

The overall look of the place is very nice, welcoming and comfortable. The restaurant is great, with good buffet breakfast and good choices for lunch and dinner as well.
