Langdon Farm Cottage is set in Boyton and offers a garden, barbecue facilities and a terrace. The attention to detail was evident everywhere. Cozily and tastefully furnished and warm, heating was included. The welcome pack was most appreciated. The all weather covered deck, complete w blankets was wonderful. The view of the garden, while sipping wine or eating breakfast was so special. Gary was a superb host and Adrian a very prompt replier to messages. Will definitely be back.
Primrose Cottage is a semi-detached holiday home featuring a garden with a barbecue, located in North Petherwin in the Cornwall Region. This was an amazing cottage with good facilities and finished to a high quality. The kitchen was well stocked and the farm shop was a bonus for items that you may have forgotten. Easy to get to and lots to see and do in the region. There were lots of outdoor facilities that would be great in the sunshine (but were still usable in the rain). The hosts were really friendly and provided lots of information.
Located in Boyton, Bradridge Farm offers free Wi-Fi throughout and free onsite parking. Set within 250 acres of countryside, this working farm is between Devon and Cornwall. THE HOSTESS WAS VERY WELCOMING AND ATTENTIVE. THE BREAKFAST WAS EXCELLENT. THIS WAS A WORKING FARM WITH SOME ANIMALS NEAR THE HOUSE WHICH THEY WERE HAPPY TO SHOW US AND TALK ABOUT THE FARMING ISSUES.
Avallon Lodges features garden views, free WiFi and free private parking, located in Launceston, 6.8 mi from Launceston Castle. Property location friendly welcome very clean very peaceful lovely comment saying our home is your home perfect could not fault
We didn't go into Boyton itself, we visited the pub just up the road which was huge and very busy. We barbecued as the weather was great, and walked around Camelford with our dog. We spoke to our neighbours who had visited several attractions in the area.
You need a car for the area- but that is true for most of Cornwall. We spend a day in Taunton, a day at Eden Project and a day visiting the local Otter Park and beach in the afternoon. There are supermarkets in Launceston (10 minute drive) and we had a lovely meal at a bistro there for the last night. There is also a pub just up the road but we didn't visit it (not enough time).
The cottage was really spacious and clean. It was fully equipped with everything one needs and the only thing not provided were towels of which i personally prefer to have my own. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of hanging space for clothes. There was a more than adequate shower in the bathroom and although hot water was on a timer it was always available when required. The sitting room had a comfortable suite and there was a good size television with very good reception. For people staying longer than a few days there was a laundry room available. Outside the cottage was a seating area specifically for our use and a parking space for the car. Although very rural it was near to a really quaint pub serving really good food. It was ideally placed to enjoy the North Devon coastline from Bude to Clovelly and Westward Ho. All in all a very enjoyable stay, welcoming owners and fabulous weather.
