The hotel is lovely but the staff are what makes it the best! Nothing was too much bother for them at all. From lugging our heavy suitcase up and down the stairs, to getting us a few bits of laundry done - and returned to us the same day!!! They also let us put our luggage behind the reception desk when we were checking out. They were so helpful and they all deserve a pay rise!!! 😘

I like it a lot generally. Some good shops, very nice buildings and some different things to do, especially during the Literary Festival. I had a nice meal in my hotel in the evening and a great Wetherspoons breakfast as usual.
Bradford, once a beautiful and prosperous city is now run down and full of empty show and predominantly populated with pound did, phone show and pop up shops - and this was the way it was b before the pandemic. It has done good parts and it's ideally suited as a gateway to the dales.
I visited Bradford for work so only there one day. I was really impressed with what I saw of the City and would love to stay much longer. I will definitely visit again for pleasure and not for work, so many places recommended but not enough time on this visit!
The function we went for was excellent. The room, however, was no better than a hostel. It smelled musty/mouldy and felt as if it had the 3/4 sized bed crammed into a storage cupboard. Old, dated and very cramped. No bedside tables/lamps. The floor had not been vacuumed around edges. Very small and very dated. The bathroom was so bad we waited till we got home to shower. No telephone so we couldn't try the room service. It was extremely difficult to get out of bed as it was against the wall.
Only visited for a day to explore the science and media museum which was superb but a long walk uphill from Forster Square railway station. Super coffee and cake at Tiffin cafe but unless you enjoy curry, take a packed lunch. Beautiful architecture and much improved since my last visit, 27 yrs ago!
Bradford is a fine city with fabulous architecture that tells of its great historical past. The Waterstones book shop in the old Wool Exchange is a must. The cathedral is light and airy and for the shoppers there is plenty to go at!
Very conveniently located for the Alhambra Theatre which is just a 2 minute walk away. The staff on reception were friendly and welcoming but seemed in constant demand from guests with queries. The view from our room across the rooftops of Bradford was interesting to look at. The room itself was fairly standard. The shower was good, the bed OK (we've slept in better) although many of the tv channels were unavailable due to "weak signal". Breakfast buffet was as expected and reasonable for the overall price we paid.
This hotel is a work in progress. Positives: Friendly staff Newly carpeted Apartment facilities good (kitchenette, big wide-screen TV - though remote did not work and TV soon came off the wall bracket, lots of cupboard space) 10 min walk from Broadway Heating, though a little antiquated (with wall mounted electric heater and portable fan heater, which cut out periodically because of a dodgy flex) worked Cheapest hotel in Bradford
I come to Bradford quite often and never seen this hotel. We came for wedding and I absolutely loved loved it. The entrance felt like walking to hotel in Las Vegas, it was spacious and even the white flowers picture frame in 401matched with my outfit for the day I loved it
Bradford
The studio apartment far exceeded my expectations. Having travelled to Bradford a few times for work I opted for this as opposed to a hotel and was impressed. Customer service was excellent. The studio is large and spacious. I will certainly be using again.
Breakfast was good. Location of hotel a difficult with suitcases as no vehicular access. Taxis drop off on yellow lines as no provision made for this service. Nice position for access to city centre
Great location for what we wanted/simple basic room but comfortable bed - breakfast was good also/staff all very accommodating/no noise even though the hotel was full.
The hotel’s location is ideal for visiting the centre of Bradford. The staff are attentive and the public areas are very grand. One can feel the history in the place.
The room was spacious and clean and the welcome from Reception particularly good. The hotel was quiet which we liked and we were very comfortable.
