Briston village itself wasn’t much but the Three Horse shoes was on the outskirts of the village . You would definitely need a car to reach the popular towns and places of interest in the area . The Three Horse shoes is a very attractive inn .

Basic shopping in the village with a well-stocked Co-Op and Post Office. We ate twice at the Explorer Bar which is close to the cottage, good pub food in a fairly small pub. No starters but a good selection of main courses and four or five specials on the night.

Everything about the place was excellent, can't fault anything, just a shame we only stayed for 1 night. Excellent value for money! Breakfast was lovely..had cereals, fresh fruit and traditional full English. There were only 2 rooms with your own entrance just a few steps from the main house. Rosie was so friendly and the perfect host.
