Disappointing. Arrived at 5.00 pm to be told there was no food not even breakfast. My payment was taken before we arrived with no reduction. We were told the pub was being run temporarily . The room next door had guest who stood outside smoking in his underpants. We packed our case and left to drive 3 hours home. We would like a refund from Booking .com.
Room was spacious, clean, and beds comfortable, free WiFi, tv, tea and coffee, extra heater available. Able to park right outside door. I ate in the Inn, and couldn’t fault the food or service, they also had a good selection of wines and spirits. On the down side, the fan in the bathroom was extremely noisy, opened shower gel, and no hairdryer, on the whole an enjoyable short stay.
Basic local pub with rooms.Handy for Stoneleigh, pleasant well cooked food quickly served, well stocked bar, pleasant staff, quiet, parking just outside the room. Okay value for money, and food good value.
Appalling rude service. The hotel had double booked, grudgingly found us an alternative at 10 o clock at night which turned us away as they didn't take pets. After a five hour drive ,no apologies we ended up in a very grotty hotel in Coventry. Absolutely dreadful experience and totally unapologetic uncaring staff, don't ever go there.
I liked the area, particularly the countryside, and I found the local people to be very friendly. I found another pub in the village where the standard of service and cleanliness was excellent, but, unfortunately, they did not have accommodation. My whole experience was spoilt by the awful unhygienic situation at the 3 Horseshoes. The village is central to many points of interest and there are good places to walk. An excellent place to stay, but avoid aforementioned pub.
Bubbenhall is a very small village with lots of friendly locals. It has 2 Pubs and 1 church. You will find lovely country walks starting from behind the church and also from the village hall. It is close to Coventry, Rugby, Leamington Spa and Kenilworth. Great starting point to explore parts of Warwickshire
