Set 2.3 mi from Skegness, Burgh Gardens provides accommodations with views over an ornamental lake. A nice quiet caravan park with a lovely view of the small lake. Really good location with a few pubs and places to eat a ten minute stroll away. Would definitely recommend
Located in Burgh le Marsh in the Lincolnshire region, Oak Cottage has a garden. The property is 5.6 mi from Skegness, and complimentary private parking is available. Lovely peaceful place, everyone was so friendly. The cottage was clean and well presented. Cannot recommend this place enough. Just far enough from skegness and Ingoldmells to visit but not be in with the hussle. Perfect weekend away. Definitely visit again.
Family 4 Adults Went for fishing on site lakes Excellent time , loads of good sized fish Carp Tench Roach Rudd Very nice site and good for dog walking Nice shop on site Cleanliness in caravan lacking in certain areas Very basic kitchen items Light bulbs not working Very old frying pan , chipped glass Dirty shower head Apart from these things, we did enjoy our stay and lakeside position of caravan was perfect
Lovely caravan and site, peaceful location, only ten minutes from Skegness. Caters for fishermen. Not many amenities on site, no restaurant or cafe, only very small shop selling essentials. The village of Burgh le Marsh is a car ride away, about five minutes, there is a Co-op and Spar, and a couple of pubs selling food. There is virtually no wifi, which was OK for my husband and myself, but was a major catastrophe for our son, who wanted to watch netflix on an evening on his phone. Sometimes he could not even get a phone signal, so not recommended for teenagers.
Lovely little town few pubs and had fish and chip shop a Chinese where you can go in and order it ring order in lovely food the people in town are very nice and always speak to you they is also a supermarket plenty places to walk and look around x
I was charged for breakfast but did not get any due to it not been ready at the agreed time and the postage stamp sized TV was a joke. I had to nap in my car due to the unbearable loud music. This whole experience was a joke £60 I wouldn't stay there again for free.
The site was lovely and quiet. But you really need to check what you are booking. I queried why we had a caravan when I had the paperwork which clearly states we had booked a villa. The host said it was booking.coms fault.
The property is two miles outside Burgh Le Marsh. It is very peaceful and quiet. The fishing lakes on site were very good. We chose to travel in to Burgh Me Marsh at night to eat out. White hart carvery was very good. The Windmill restaurant was very good too.
