Built in 1856, Rosehill House is half a mile south of Burnley town center. It has retained much of its original architecture, including Italian marble fireplaces and gold leaf ceilings. On Sunday breakfast was slow. I booked for 9.30am and still was not served at 10.00am but there were a lot of guests. Other than that everything ran very smoothly

The Lawrence is located in Padiham, 5 mi from Pendle Hill. Free WiFi is available throughout. Each room has a flat-screen TV and tea/coffee making facilities. We had a fantastic night at The Laurence hotel - really exceeded our expectations. We booked it spontaneously after needing to come up to Burnley for a night. We had a late check-in and was greeted by the receptionist who was very helpful and also upgraded us to the superior room! The room itself was lovely, very clean and the stand along bath made it feel very special as did the temple spa products and robes! Felt like a little spa break :) The grab and go breakfast which is included in the room price was also really handy for a quick breakfast and had lots of facilities even for vegans.

The Guest House Worsthorne is set in Burnley. All rooms feature a flat-screen TV with cable channels and a private bathroom. Free WiFi is available and on-site parking is provided. Breakfast was first class. Very generous and more than I could eat. So some of the breakfast I had for lunch. The village was beautiful, small and friendly. There was a village store next to the accommodation which sold everything. There are two very smart pubs in the village, literally a few yards away. One newly refurbished, very smart serving fabulous food. The other a great pub selling real ale. Altogether an excellent place to stay !

Located in Burnley, Regent Guest House has accommodations with free WiFi and flat-screen TV. Manchester is 29 miles from the family stay, while Bradford is 30 miles from the property. I was extremely impressed with the communication as Regent House got in touch to ask for my check in time, and then sent me all the details about how to access my room, including videos which were very helpful! The self check in was very convenient, but I was also assured there will be someone available to help if I needed assistance. Room and ensuite was fresh and clean, refreshments available and the bedding was so soft I didn't want to get up the next day! Would recommend and I'd stay again

had a good night in the town pubs - but struggled to find somewhere to eat - ended at The Shimla - food was fine but we were the only 2 people in the entire place - it was only 10.15 - yet they were already cleaning and hoovering ready to close and we were told they would be shutting at 11. the taxi driver was surprised as he said the place was 'very popular'.
Make the time to walk along the canal where you can access it across the road from the hotel Also take the time if you can to visit the singing tree which is 10 minutes away by car ..you will.not regret it.... Also travel by car 15 minutes away a fab Indian restaurant called "Indian harvest" Take time to see the south penines and some lovely historic things Burnley has to offer
Burnley is a pleasant Northern town with fabulous surrounding scenery, a rich cultural heritage and there is plenty to see and do here. I mostly ate in the hotel because it was so good but there are plenty of restaurants not far if you are driving.
A town hosting Premier football. Excellent pubs and eateries. On the edge of wonderful countryside with michelin star restaurants. Towneley Hall and Gardens well worth a visit. The friendliest town in the UK.
We didn’t really stay long enough really may be we will stay longer next time we were visiting friends just a one night stay . We visited clone a near by town to go to see a panto that was fab . Great for families and shopping .
We didn't really get to see much of Burnley as we only called in for 1hr... But plenty of shops and we were able to purchase what we required.. lots of tops names..Parking cheap and secure. We could find a Bar that suited and the popular choice seemed to be Witherspoons... We are going to go back as we do not think we did it justice... Daytime everywhere seemed super busy.

Flexibility to come and go whenever we wanted. Check in was flexible too in the early evening. Location great, as next door to the General store and The Bay Horse pub and close to Burnley and other places we wanted to visit in the surrounding area. Great prompt communication from the B&B owner. Provided breakfast on the second day to fully meet my dairy free requirements, which was much appreciated.
We had a warm welcome and all the staff were really helpful and friendly. Each room had unique decoration which was a nice touch, and the single room had plenty of space, a good mattress, and a comfy chair. We had dinner at the hotel and it was very well presented, delicious, and good portion sizes. We wouldn't hesitate to book again if we needed accommodation in the area.
Very nice and clean place to stay, honestly wouldn’t go anywhere else if I was to stay in Burnley! Great hosts nice house and no issues whatsoever but hosts are always down to help with anything!
