We stayed at Hustwood Hall, it was picturesque, such a beautiful place to stay, so comfortable and relaxing, just what we needed for a night away.
The hosts were so friendly and welcoming, we enjoyed every second of it, we couldn't have asked for any more, there were some lovely looking pubs near by, serving great food for a reasonable price, thoroughly enjoyable getaway, for anyone and especially for a couple taking a break together.

Burnley and surrounding area was not particularly what I hasd hoped for , it seemed to be very "run down" , actually decideded to leave Burnley and headed to Skipton , a much more visitor friendly experience. On the second day wanted to explore the heritage museum but this was closed on Mondays and Tuesdays , so we explored Newchurch in Pendle for the Witch shop the decided to head to the Yorkshire Dales.

We didn't spend time in the town of Burnley.
We didn't spend time in the town of Burnley. As we have family living in the area, we've visited fairly regularly. The countryside around is beautiful. On previous occasions we've visited a National Trust property and other venues, chosen by them.

The centre is walkable, and there is a variety of shops and eateries and although an old town there modernisation of some of the old buildings, there is a market, and a good bus station but the railway is a little out of town. You can see the embankment of the Leeds and Liverpool canal.

Went for a wedding in Bacup hotel was in a good location for us. Went by car but looked like there were plenty of bus options. Ate at reception so didn't try any of the local eateries but seemed plenty of places to choose from.

The bedroom and bathroom were comfortable, clean and in excellent condition. The location was perfect, as it is within walking distance of Burnley town centre and other attraction, such as Turf Moor and Townley Park, but far enough out to make it peaceful. There is dedicated parking, and the outside garden and canalside seating area is beautiful. The adjoining restaurant and bar is nice, with somewhat limited opening hours. All of the staff that we met were very helpful and welcoming, as was the owner.
lovely little place to stay, central for where we were going and lots of parking available, staff were lovely and explained everything to us and we had no problems, ideal central location if visiting Burnley.
Great staff, lovely room and excellent breakfast.
Very clever door design to separate the toilet from the bathroom.
We will only be using your hotel when we stay in the area for future events.
The hotel is beautiful. It was all trimmed up for Christmas which was lovely.
The room was comfortable and had a great selection of snacks and hot and cold drinks.
