Omg this place is so amazing. The backyard is a part of the national park with benches to sit on and the lake right there. They have a restaurant and a bar where you can eat and drink overlooking the lake. The staff was wonderful and I am extremely happy I found this place.

Warm, dry, and welcoming. What more do you want? Very comfortable bunk beds, lovely place, and friendly staff. Cherry on the cake: the dry room!! And the views, of course. Numerous toilets and showers, offering hot water for everyone with no waiting time.

There is not much in the way of facilities at the village...

There is not much in the way of facilities at the village itself but it is an excellent base if you are into hill walking/hiking. There is a reasonable bus service to get around and plenty of places to eat a short drive away. It is also very easy to get to other parts of Snowdonia being at the junction of two main roads.
