King size bed was two single beds pushed together, uncomfortable especially in the middle. Lovely bar area. Wash facilities good.

The room was basic, but comfortable. The breakfast was very good value for money, and the staff were really helpfull and courteous. We would happily stay there again.

We only had the opportunity to walk around the village of Ashover, which was very pretty and gave us a kind welcome.
We had breakfast in the local café, which was bustling and one of the hearts to this community. A tasty start to the day.
The weather was kind to be outdoors, so we made the most of the countryside, both locally and found the Monsal trail was great.
Unfortunately, we did not make time to visit the town centre of Chesterfield. We drove past the twisted church spire, which is fascinating. Next time we'd like to specifically visit this church.

Excellent bus services to Matlock.
Friendly and helpful community
Unfortunately, we experienced some ASB but possibly no different to any other major town.

There was nothing I did not like about the hospital or the staff.
I ate in my bedroom.
I hope never to return but should I require any other surgery I should certainly return to the Barlborough Hospital
The staff are excellent at the Ibis in Chesterfield - they supported me to leave my case before I was able to check in as I had gotten into town a little earlier than expected.
My mum also came to meet me at the hotel and was offered use of the tea making facilities while she waited - I cannot emphasise how welcoming and professional the staff were throughout. Due to this I did not want to report the below issues but am glad to have an opportunity to do so.
The hotel was in the centre of Chesterfield , our room was clean and spacious and it was great as there was oat milk along with milk for our drinks 👍10/10 👏👏not had this in any other hotels we've stayed at, staff was very obliging and friendly will definitely stay here again and already recommended to friends, will definitely try another Wheatherspoons Hotel.
My room was wonderful and the hotel itself was perfectly located for wandering into Chesterfield and transportation links . I found the cleaning staff to be particularly warm and welcoming. Hot drinks and water available all day.
Excellent Hotel in the centre of Chesterfield with lovely rooms. The breakfast was very good, freshly cooked with plenty of choice. Also the two evening meals we ate there were very good. Would stay again.
