The cabin is fully equipped with everything you need and more - there was even a fresh loaf of bread and some complimentary items in the fridge waiting for me! Barry and Debbie are lovely hosts and super responsive. This stay exceeded my expectations - would definitely come again!

It´s way in the coutryside, small single trail road with few...
It´s way in the coutryside, small single trail road with few houses only. However, great restaurants near by (the three chimmneys and Chidakasha Skye) , wonderfully located for great walks, a short drive to the Neist Lighthouse, the valley of Glendale, close to Dunvegan Castle.

Lovely scenic cottage.
Lovely scenic cottage. The key locker was a bit hard to manage but host was responsive immediately and got it sorted out. Winter pot holes in the roads but they were working on them. (I was there in April). Fantastic kitchen. Beds are on upper floor. Bathroom could use a fan or vent of some sort.

Hosts were phenomenal. Food was fantastic.
We were fortunate enough to be able to add on the whisky tasting where we sampled many regional spirits we'd never tried before and had personalized recommendations for our interests.
There is plenty to do in that corner of skye for a multi night stay, worth it to take your time rather than zooming through.

The place is amazing, we couldn't give any less than the maximum 10 stars! The hosts, Ian and Jacqueline are wonderful people and we really hope to meet them again. The breakfast was just excellent, like a 5 star hotel! The place is so cozy and well equipped we felt at home right away. Could not recommend this place more - it is a true gem!

Cozy accommodation with lovely views. This was a great home base for spending our days on Skye out exploring the northern/western sides of the Island. We feel the bothy description, photos, and previous reviews accurately reflect the unit. Would stay here again!

Breakfast was fabulous and hosts were great in helping us plan our day. Absolutely recommend! Make sure to book restaurants in advance as there are only a few in Colbost.

Beautiful view in remote area of Skye. Welcoming hosts and great breakfasts. Liked the fridge in the shared space and appreciated the opportunity to pay for laundry to be done.
