The Red Red Robin Cottage, hotel in Dunvegan

The Red Red Robin Cottage has garden views, free WiFi and free private parking, set in Portree, 32 km from Dunvegan Castle.

Very cute place - comfortable, nicely decorated like typical mountains houses ! We really felt at home! Perfectly located to enjoy Portree and the most popular hiking trails on the Island (Quiriang and The Old Man Storr). Les and Mery are wonderful people : super nice, they gave us tips and advices to organize our visits on the neighbourhood, shared their passion about Scotland and made sure we had everything we need. Breakfast was absolutely delicious and generous ! A wonderful way to start the day :) We highly recommend this B&B in Skye and are considering coming back !

Dunvegan Castle and Garden is a must-visit.

Dunvegan Castle and Garden is a must-visit. Very little traffic and easy to get around. Distances are deceiving because of the narrow windy roads - passing places are an experience! We had a great lunch at The Three Chimneys just outside Duvegan

Surprisingly little there, used as a base for 3 nights, should really have done for 2. Dunvegan Castle nearby and worth a visit. Limited places to eat. Had to drive to get to anywhere including start of walks.

Wonderful little town with so many gems if you take the time to explore! Check out the Angus McCaskill museum for some quirky entertainment; the School House for a wonderful, hearty meal; Dunvegan Castle for a fantastic history lesson and some great walking paths; Two Churches walk up to the standing stone; and Misty's for a quick bite and some ice cream. Easy-to-walk town with friendly people.

Dunvegan is in a beautiful area of Skye and centrally located with easy access to the Cullins, and Portree. The weather was rainy most of the visit but we still managed to have a wonderful time and see the sights.

Dunvegan is in the North of the island, perfect for visiting Dunvegan castle, the coral beaches, Neist Point light house, carbost and the talisker distillery. Plenty of walks in and around the area. One negative is the state of the roads....beware! Potholes are everywhere

Dunvegan suffering a wee bit like many places from lack of staff making some hotels ,restaurants having to reduce opening hours but dont let that put you off as always somewhere open . It will get better as more tourists arrive ,our trip was very much at the end of a very strange summer season .We have stayed in the area many times and will most certainly return before too long .

Johnny and Janice were absolutely fantastic, they gave us freshly baked cakes, bread and scones from their bakery and made us a pizza one night. The food was incredible and they adapted to my girlfriends dietary needs which was very thoughtful. The pod was kitted out with very high quality items and was more of a mini house it had everything we needed. The bed was very comfy and the pod didn't get hot and stuffy at all. I would highly recommend to anyone to stay here if we ever end up going to Skye again we will definitely stay again.

An amazing eco stay, we loved our stay and reading about all the amazing details and thought that have gone into creating this eco retreat. Amazing facilities, so well stocked in the kitchens for any kind of cooking you may need to do, beautiful rainforest shower and such an amazing peaceful place to unwind over Easter weekend in the beautiful Isle of Skye.

Baba was a terrific host. Stayed for two nights. We got on well with the other couple who was there at the same time. Continental self serve breakfast was fine. Good choice for anyone car touring the North of Skye.
