A 15-minute drive from Bath, T's at Lower Rudloe Farm offers bed and breakfast accommodations with self-catering rooms each with their own front door and free WiFi. This farm is full of nature. We really enjoyed the stay because of the outstanding views it has from the backyard. Being surrounded by animals and nature was a real pleasure. The room was really cozy and it had all what we needed. It is very well equipped and the owners welcomed us with all kind of treats and a delicious English breakfast! Besides, the bed was extremely comfortable. We won’t hesitate to come back to this place again, we highly recommend it.
Lorne House is a Victoria villa, in the Wiltshire village of Box, just 6 miles from Bath. Free WiFi and onsite parking is available. Each room has an en-suite and is either a bathroom or wet-room. Great location and looney hosts. Adaptable breakfast from full English to croissant to scrambled eggs with smoked salmon. Really delicious. We loved it. Very modern bathroom.
The spa is very relaxing but we loved being able to swim too. The outside hot tub/pool was delightful with beautiful views with the Autumnal colours. Brasserie supplied a delicious meal and it appears the fish is a particularly cooked to perfection on the evening we had supper. Other activities were available including equestrian but we didn't have time to try these on this stay as we preferred to enjoy the beautiful grounds and a walk instead.
Visitors stay in Colerne for the great views and walks. Colerne is only approx 4 miles from the historic city of Bath and is only 2 minutes away from one of the leading privately owned hotels in the country (Lucknam Park Hotel and Spa). In July we have the Festival on the Hill which is a music festival where bands play across the village, mainly in the two local pubs. Food in both of the pubs is considered of a very high quality.
Quiet and within easy driving distance to Bath. Only a short drive from the beautiful, historic village of Lacock. I would thoroughly recommend eating at the sign of an angel-a 15th century pub in Lacock with amazing food.
Didn't get to see anything of Colerne as was a quick one night stop over for our daughters wedding in Bath seeing as we arrived late evening but what we saw driving through looks a beautiful peaceful village
