The Old Schoolhouse Inn is very nice. Terry and Avril were wonderful hosts. Our spacious room was beautifully decorated and furnished with lovely linens. The shower had very hot water and good water pressure. We had a delicious Irish breakfast with fresh baked goods. The parking at this location is great and easy to maneuver. Terry had great sightseeing suggestions for the area. We ate dinner at The Poacher's Pocket Restaurant which is about 10 mins from the Inn. The restaurant was beautiful with delicious foods. Go early as they get very busy. They have a lovely food gift shop attached to the restaurant.

Absolutely incredible place to stay. Very clean and tidy. Any little thing you need was there, comfy bed, great shower, cooking facilities and really appreciated the little thing like robes, breakfast items (some of which were homemade). A great view from the little deck out the back, just to sit and pace and watch the wildlife. I cannot recommend this place enough. Also, very kind and gracious host. It really makes a difference.

I complained 3 times that you couldn’t turn tv on or off with the remote control, you could use it for sound and channels but not off and on. My husband had to stand on a chair to turn off and on.

Just 20 minutes from the center of Belfast, The Strangford Arms is a renovated Victorian hotel, offering elegant rooms and free private parking.

Peaceful, well designed, great sea views, comfortable… good WiFi . Iain the hoist kindly also let me use his office for a lengthy zoom session I was running. A real contrast to other work related stays I’ve had- great to arrive to fresh coffee and quality biscuits, breakfast cereals etc after a long day. Really appreciated. Very close to rural park, I went for a run up to the stunning monument… Road gets a bit busy- but in countryside in 2 mins. Great location for Stormont.
