Set in Crieff, 2.1 mi from Drummond Castle Gardens, Barley Bree Restaurant with Rooms has a restaurant, a bar and free WiFi. The food was so good, we had breakfast both mornings, and had dinner the first night. The chef is amazing, the only reason we did not have dinner the second night was we were at a wedding. Excellent choices in the bar too, and they made a Dark & Stormy for my wife exactly how she wanted.

Crieff Hydro Hotel is set in a 900-acre estate with a Victorian spa, 9-hole par 3 golf course and over 60 indoor and outdoor activities. Breakfast lovely so much choice. Lots of activities for kids and things to do. Family friendly. My boy loved the magic show and arcade. The park outside the hotel was amazing. My boy had the best time. Kids club excellent and gave mum and I opportunity to use spa or go for a glass of wine.

Beautiful views and walks . Activities and ambience at Crieff Hydro second to none. Murray Park Hotel very cosy and quieter. Interesting old Scottish town with beautiful architecture and a High St with attractive shopping and cafes.
Crieff hydro is for children, if you are travelling alone or as a couple go to a different hotel. Evening entertainment and swimming are ruined by unruly children and parents who allow this. Crieff town is lovely .
Can't find fault with anything during our stay. The staff were so friendly and helpful . The beautiful grounds were wonderful to walk through, with a glimpse of snow on the the Grampian mountains. A luxurious place to stay. There's something for everyone, families, young couples, older couples. No hesitation in recommending Crieff Hydro to anyone looking for a refreshing break. Thought I'd died and gone to heaven when presented with my favourite vegetarian meal. (Compliments to the chef in the Terrace Restaurant). Thank you, Crieff Hydro Hotel. Keep doing what you're doing.
Good base to get out and about to Scone Palace, Falkland Palace, Drummond Castle gardens, Caithness glass, Pitlochry, Dunkeld, The Hermitage, Perth and MacCrosty Park. We self catered, but we did try out some coffee shops - The Crieff Food Co., Rhubarb and The Chocolate Gallery, all good and all different. Excellent range of local shops. We also use the launderette recommended by our accommodation owner - Spa Clean, super helpful staff (paid by card for the washing machine and changed a £5 note for 50ps for the tumble drier.) Free 3 hour parking in the town centre.
Glenturret Distillery tour was great and you can walk there from Crieff along the road then a lovely path through the forest along the river. Crieff has some really good restaurants and The Square Bar and Kitchen do amazing cocktails.
Love the family atmosphere in the hotel , the area is nice with lots to do . Think I would prefer self-catering in future or a signature room was disappointed with quality of standard room not as photograph . Covid has also come into play so reduced service with regards to room servicing etc but not reflected in price

The location was great, tucked away but not so far from town centre that I couldn’t enjoy the walk. The bed was one of the most comfortable I have ever slept in. The hosting by ewelina was stellar and if I could give her more than 5* I would. As a lone traveller, she made me feel so comfortable with her friendly persona and the way she took care of my every need. Nothing was too much trouble and she really did go out of her way to make me relax. she is one of the gems of Crieff hospitality and a genuinely lovely person.

Joe the host was very welcoming and obliging we required our room from midday to prepare for a 1:30 wedding in the area, Joe text us at 10:30 that morning to say our room was ready - excellent and great customer service. The choice of teas and coffees in our room was very varied and welcome along with the cute little biscuits and most importantly, the comfy beds. 👍 Never having visited the little town of Crieff before it appeared clean and interesting will visit again.
It happened so that we turned up with 1 person more than booked for & the lovely hosts instantly arranged everything to accommodate us - and the big family room allowed for more beds Also they kindly stayed up & checked us in quite late, shame we could not hang around in the area for longer to explore it Breakfast beautifully laid out with a great choice of everything like in a big hotel Very spacious & clean bathroom to ourselves

The cottage was very nicely decorated and cozy. The bed was very very comfy - Probably better than five star hotels! Hillary made amazing full Scottish breakfast that was absolutely divine!

We had a wonderful holiday at Blairmore! The beautiful location was ideal for child friendly day trips and local amenities and the on site farm was fun and interactive for our little ones (1y and 3.5y) and the farm tour activity book kept us going for days! The accommodation was stunning, full of character, comfy, clean and cozy but still had all the modern functions and fittings required to feel at home. It was well equipped for staying with young children and felt safe for curious babies/toddlers. The welcome pack was a lovely surprise and we were all fighting over the chocolate brownies! We ordered evening meals from the farm shop on 2 occasions and were not disappointed, we even managed to stretch it into left overs for lunches but the fully equipped kitchen made it easy to prepare our normal meals for the kids without the need for taking extra utensils. Thank you James, Alisa and staff for a wonderful break and we look forward to seeing you again next year!
