Lovely 1-bedroom apartment with free parking in Inverness provides accommodations with free WiFi, 3.3 miles from University of the Highlands and Islands, Inverness, 3.3 miles from Inverness Train... A beautiful, cosy cottage in a peaceful quiet location. We wanted a really quiet and nice place to relax and be away from big cities, yet we needed to be close to Inverness for the Loch Ness marathon. This place was just that- only about 10-15 minutes drive from Inverness city centre (or 25 minutes by local bus), amazingly quiet and comfortable, yet only a few minutes walk from local shops and nature walks. The hosts were really friendly and welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed. There was also parking available just in front of the cottage, a TV, Wi-Fi and a bath tub, kitchen with all the utensils to cook for ourselves, maps of places to explore in Scotland and books on Mountaineering. We had a really pleasant stay and would definitely stay there again.
This hotel is located approximately 3.5 mi from Inverness town center, 5 mi from Inverness Airport and only 1.2 mi from historic Culloden Battlefield. Nice clean rooms, very friendly staff. Made to feel welcome, great breakfast in the morning. Great wee bar and food.
I came here for the Culloden battlefield and Cawdor Castle. The battlefield is a special and emotional experience, the visitor Centre is excellent. Cawdor can be missed, but it was still special and rich with associations.
