I was allocated a modern self catering apartment. Excellent. It’s located in a small village but there was a Shop a couple of minutes drive away and a nice Bar/Resteraunt a short stroll up the road if needed.

It was a very cosy stay in a really nice pod. The facilities were great and it felt like a very luxurious camping stay with all the nature around. The starry sky was gorgeous! Amanda and her husband were very helpful hosts. We got some good tips for the island (use the 'uist unearthed' app for suggestions) and a welcome basket with treats.

Restaurant on site is amazing! Roberto is doing a great job with the place and I loved the Harris Tweed decor in the rooms. Sound of the ocean lulls you to sleep. Quick drive to Barra ferry and lovely beaches nearby.

We would not hesitate to recommend or stay again. Our room was very comfortable, clean and quiet. Secure bike storage. Now the evening meal was another story! We have been travelling for 6 weeks and Chris’s dinner takes first prize. Exceptional flavours and presentation. Thank you for a great stay.

Booked for 2 colleagues and the room was excellent. spotless and comfortable and absolutely ideal for a work trip (although can imagine it being great for any trip). 2 great beds, breakfast area, spacious and bathroom excellent. Hosts were lovely, extremely accommodating and went above and beyond, communication was great - would highly recommend this BnB.

Lots to do- look into visiting the north & south area- all...

Lots to do- look into visiting the north & south area- all are within a comfortable drive. Get a map that shows the highlights- nature preserve, beaches, distilleries, standing stones, castle ruins, Uist Soap, restaurants like Politician, Charlie’s, Westford- all worth a trip. Stayed in Uist Travel Accommodation- clean, well stocked, ideal location- loved Peter & Archie (proprietors)- couldn’t ask for more! Went above & beyond to assist & accommodate! Will definitely plan a return trip!

I booked. Ferry became unavailable. I requested cancellation and refund 2 days in advance. Response was try another route. Not possible due to other commitments and bookings...email sent...BUT NO RESPONSE! UNHAPPY AND VERY DISSATISFIED.

All towns in Outer Hebrides are very small.

All towns in Outer Hebrides are very small. Daliburgh is a great location close enough to multiple harbours and on the main road. The shop has exceptionally long opening hours and is well stocked (Co-op). Buses are running too and fairly frequently. Good walks nearby.

Attention-to-detail by the owners, a winning recipe from a traveller's point of view. We wish the owners every success - it is clearly well-deserved! Breakfast was cooked-to-order and scrumptious! You do need a car to travel around on this island.
