With a modern leisure center and stylish restaurant, Daresbury Park Hotel & Spa is a 3-minute drive from the M56 motorway. Chester, Liverpool and Manchester are within a 30-minute drive. great hotel, i have stayed here before on business which is why I came back, great on site facilities (restaurant, bar, java coffee lounge, gym, plenty of on site parking), also very professional, helpful and friendly staff, will definitely stay again when i am in the area.
Located in Warrington in the Cheshire region, The School House has accommodations with free WiFi and free private parking. There's a fully equipped private bathroom with shower and a hairdryer. Very friendly. Really clean and tidy, lovely breakfast, ideal location. Excellent!
Located in Warrington, 5 miles from Halliwell Jones Stadium, The Partridge provides accommodations with a restaurant, free private parking and a bar. Best customer service and genuine friendliness I have ever experienced. However much they are paying the "two Helens" it's not enough! Their concern for their guests is so authentic and they really do go out of their way to make it a special stay.
The Park Royal is set in Stretton, just off the M56 Motorway and within 40 minutes' drive of the cities of Chester and Liverpool. It features a health club and 3 floodlit tennis courts. Very friendly staff. Nice spa but expensive. Great choice of gluten free for main meal but no real choice for dessert. Lovely themed Christmas decorations.
The 17th-century inn The Hollybush offers en suite accommodations and high-quality dining, around 10 minutes’ drive from Northwich. Excellent accommodation, we were given a family room after explaining we had jet lag. Superb food, dinner and full English breakfat
Village Hotel Warrington is located close to the town center of Warrington, just 20 minutes' drive from Manchester and Liverpool Airports. Meals were fine and delivered in a timely manner and reflected what I wanted. Breakfast staff very impressive, clearing tables and greeting guests again in a timely manner and were very helpful.
This hotel should be shutdown it is discusting, how booking.com can advertise this hotel is beyond my wildest imagination, the hotel is just terrible that is the nicest word I can sum up to describe my short lived experience at Daresbury Park Hotel and Spa. The hotel was that discusting and the room was that bad we lasted about 30 minutes and checked out and went to stay at a premiere inn just up the road. DO NOT STAY HERE. Read the reviews on trip advisor it is just aweful the hotel needs a few million pounds in overhaul or closing down. There was glasses outside our room as pictured the bed linen was dirty as my partner who works in the hospitality sector put it, it was classed as reject bedding the furniture was tired and carpets in the hallways were a trip hazard as they are tatty and lumpy in places, wallpaper hanging off walls broken lifts and the general attitude of a we dont care sort of hotel chain. Well Brittania Hotel group you will not get my service in future your hotel is a disgrace.
What kind of hotel in this day and age doesn't provide free wifi? I had to pay £7 a day to some fly by night outfit called bit buzz. The wifi was atrocious and didn't work so i had to call them for a refund - of course it took 3 working days for the refund to turn up. No wifi for the duration The toilets in the hotel seem to make haunting screaming sounds in the night, usually around 3am and again at 7am i had a poor nights sleep due to this on consecutive nights. I had to cancel my last night due to a family emergency but these jokers still charged me for the missed night. Fine, I just won't ever stay here again. Apart from that, it was great ;-)
Daresbury is a good base for both Manchester and Chester, with high quality facilities, free gym and pool (for residents). We ate several times, enjoying our meals. Our son had a smokers room, a useful facility for smokers.
The hotel needs vastly improved management: - dark car park - couldn't find reception. - asked for food and drink, told to go to bar, but when got there, the bar was closed, - tried to call to reception for room service instead, but room phone not working, - had to walk to reception again and ordered beverages which took 45 mins to arrive, - the receptionist had a lot of very obvious dirt under every finger nail, - no loo rolls in the room
I enjoyed the frienliness of the staff and other guests which I should state should be encouraged in your advertising, the leisure part is superb. I would suggest possible evening entertainment as I think you would be full permanently.
Hotel is in an ideal location being a stones throw away from the M56. Rooms are spacious, but bring your own towel, unless you are happy to wait around for a few hours for one to magically appear in your room. Drinks are overpriced and my 5 year old daughter is more mature than the staff. Spa isn't too shabby though, but could do with some renovation. If you are happy to go for a casual swim whilst kids jump in and splash you, then don't forget to check in here,
