Dawlish Warren Holidays consists of four 2 bedroom chalets - Beaches, Sunny View, The Cove and Driftwood. They are located on the 4-star Welcome Holiday Park in Dawlish Warren. We had such a lovely weekend in Dawlish, Lynn and Alan's chalet was absolutely perfect. We walked in and instantly felt welcome in this cosy little retreat. Perfectly clean, everything we needed, would definately stay again :)
Within 5 minutes’ walk of Dawlish seafront, the award-winning Lammas Park House offers elegant rooms with free parking and WiFi. There is also a pretty garden with a waterfall and fish pond. It is a beautiful house with excellent parking, beautifully clean and well equipped and the breakfast was fantastic.
Located in Dawlish, Lyme Bay House features a bar, shared lounge and free WiFi. There is free private parking and the property provides paid airport shuttle service. Only had a light breakfast but food varied and fresh. Main problem was in finding the hotel when I arrived in Dawlish, as I don't have sat-nav, got lost but, I have to say that a stranger plus Ian (manager) were both very helpful.
Offering free WiFi, No. 2 Watch House is set on the beachfront in Dawlish. The apartment has sea views and is 20 mi from Exmouth. Beautiful place. Spotless apartment with wonderful views. Everything you could possibly need was provided. Thank you for a beautiful break.
Dawlish Sea View Apartment offers accommodations in Dawlish, 8.7 mi from Torquay and 11 mi from Exeter. Dawlish Sea View Apartment features views of the sea and is 30 mi from Tavistock. The location was good, central, yet quiet. Off road car parking a big plus. The briefing paperwork sent out by Mark was very useful.
Dawlish is nice . The railway inn was a nightmare & caused me & my child distress with the way it was badly managed by licensees who should not be in an alcohol licensed premises with such bad behaviour & smoking is banned aswell as lock ins .. been in the trade myself to know it's a shambles & the rooms were not clean as the landlady didnt expect our booking had her family due & drink fueled by a bad attitude to customer service. Bizarre to expect my child to accompany them to beach the next day or give my child lolly pop sweet that I was not even consulted-only met them for 2 minutes. Strange behaviour. She could choke on lollys. Dont take sweets from strangers or offer them without asking the parent 1st.
I stayed at the Oceans and it was a horrible hotel. But Dawlish has something good for families with great COVID19 procedures which made me feel safe. Rubbish hotel but good family scene in Dawlish all in all !
There are two areas of Dawlish. Dawlish where the black swans are, the best pasties and cherry pie. Dawlish Warren where the beach is next to a nature reserve you can walk along the nature reserve and back along the sandy beach inthey have good facilities for children and bars that look over the beach.
Easy to get around Dawlish and good transport links for other areas of interest. It wasn't easy to get a good meal in the evening as due to the situation some restaurants hadn't re-opened and some venues weren't doing food at night. We ate in John's and Reflections Bistro and enjoyed our food and time spent in both places.
Dawlish very nice for older people beach not very good for children however Dawlish Warren lot better for families and only a few miles away,,,,The only downside is all the prices for food and drink have risen probably due to covid. Can`t really blame them trying to claw their losses back but this is not fair for the larger family,
A pleasant place to stay. Quiet in some parts but very busy on the beach area which is only to be expected in the summer months. Undergoing some redevelopment at the moment which will only enhance its attraction. Well worth a visit
The apartment was clean and tidy, as a matter of fact absolutely spotless. Felt like being home from home. Towels were provided and a lovely little essential cleaning package supplied. Handy booklet with tips and details of surroundings, really cannot describe how amazing this place is as words just doesnt seem to do it justice. Needs to be seen to truly appreciate what jenny and steve have put into the place. Many thanks to them both for making our holiday perfect from to get go.
