Located in Dinton, Honeysuckle Homestead features a shared lounge, garden, terrace, and free WiFi throughout the property. Private parking can be arranged at an extra charge. The owner was extremely accommodating when i was presented with unforeseen traffic complications which meant I needed to stay an extra night (the day before my actual booking) with 6 hours notice. She quickly turned around another room so I could stay for both nights. In addition before my arrival I was held up in traffic until extremely late. On contacting the B&B and highlighting my situation I was given an access code to enter the B&B so I could gain entry to my room. I was a guest at a wedding that was taking place in the village. My friend and I were about to walk down to the church was the rain came. When we decided to take the car instead the owner offered us their golf umbrellas so we could get to the car park where the car was parked. On the day of departure the owner kindly gave me 2 bottles of water for my long journey back up north. Will definitely stay here again when I’m visiting the area to catch up with the friend whose wedding it was.
Offering a restaurant and a bar, The Penruddocke Arms is located on the outskirts of the village of Dinton. There is free parking and free Wi-Fi access in all areas. The owners are welcoming and very approachable. Despite our late arrival, a bowl of the best chips I have ever tasted was rustled up.
The Cottage Marshwood Farm is set in Dinton. The holiday home is in an area where guests can engage in activities such as cycling and fishing. Beautiful location, lovely cottage just feel like home, perfect for our family. A break from the phones is a treat ( you can still have internet signal upstair or while having a cuppa outside on the bench). The breakfast basket for us on arrival was really nice. We would love to be back..
With garden views, Marshwood Farm B&B and Shepherds Hut is located in Dinton and has free WiFi. A continental breakfast is available daily at the farm stay. Beautiful old house and interesting to hear it’s history from the host. Genuine working farmland we hope the sheep did well at the show.

Garden Studio Spring Cottage is located in a small quiet village 11 mi from Salisbury, 11 mi from Salisbury Racecourse, and provides a patio, garden, and free WiFi. The property is set in a beautiful, peaceful spot and the interior has a very cosy feel. Tastefully decorated, well equipped and clean. It’s not really near any amenities so a car is essential but there are plenty of very good pubs within easy driving distance. We absolutely loved our stay and can’t wait to come back next year!
Located in Lower Chicksgrove, 2 miles from Tisbury, Compasses Inn offers accommodations with free parking, free Wi-Fi, a pub, and a restaurant. A picture perfect thatched pub with rooms, we had a perfect one night get away xx the bedroom was spacious and comfy, the bathroom was modern and everything was spotlessly clean. We had a meal in the pub which was excellent and would thoroughly recommend. You would need to book a table as it’s a popular eating place with locals as well as visitors. We took our dogs who were welcomed and most people staying had dogs with them.
Dinton is a village with 1 pub in the village and the Penruddock on the outskirts. All clean and tidy from the journey I took through the village. Not to far from Salisbury which where i went for my week stay.
Dinton has a lovely park in the grounds of Phillips House and a historic church. The Penruddocke Arms does excellent food in the evening and is a very comfortable and friendly hotel. Nearby Wilton is a lovely village; Salisbury with its Cathedral, Old Sarum and various other attractions is close by. Stonehenge and Avebury are a short drive away and Warminster cranborne Chase and the West Wiltshire Downs are within easy reach.
I love walking and the surrounding countryside is absolutely beautiful with many footpaths. An ordnance survey map is invaluable. There is much to see and do generally in the area and Salisbury is also within easy reach.
what i saw of Dinton was a lovely village i was at a wedding and then straight back to London so didn't get much sightseeing, the penruddocke arms which i stayed at was lovely with very friendly and helpful staff and i had a sunday lunch there which was excellent
