Shearwater 41 Hot Tub Holidays is located in Tattershall and offers barbecue facilities and a terrace. There is an in-house restaurant and free private parking. The caravan met our needs exactly as we were a group of extended family spending a few days together over the summer holidays. We had 3 children between us and the 2nd toilet, extra outside space of the decking and the location of the van away from the main roadways at the back of the park suited us perfectly. The hot tub was very clean and we all loved using it. The hosts were only ever a message or an email away and we all agreed we would stay at this van again.
Amazing little hide away , calm, relaxed and peaceful with amazing facilities in the apartment it self ,even why storm Dennis was underway we didn't realise how bad he had been till our journey home . Nicola was fantastic answered all my questions before hand but was still shocked with how amazing the place was and the little added extras just topped it ! Highly recommend and will definitely be back thank you .
Lots to interest you in and around Dogdyke,. The incredible brick built Woodhall Castle and Collegiate Church, the unique 8-sailed windmill and museum at Heckington, the Cranwell Aviation Heritage Museum at North Rauceby, old Boston Stump and even older Lincoln Cathedral, a privately owned Lancaster bomber at East Kirby airfield, picturesque Horncastle and more. And Yes, they grow tulips there in the Spring!
Quality accommodation, set in a Country Inn. The room was large, clean and had all expected amenities. Whilst there was a little wait for breakfast the quality of the food was very high. The staff were friendly.
location good, didnt like facilitise in bedroom, museum and woodhall spa was amazing the whole 40s weekend was fantastic cant wait for next years, wouldnt stay here as £98 per night in a pub was very expensive
We had two nights B & B plus two evening meals and the total for two people was under £250, so very good value. We enjoyed a visit to Lincoln which was a bustling city with a lot of activities and numerous eating places. The cathedral and castle are both spectacular.
Dogdyke! The name had to be an omen! Easy to find. Very friendly welcome and helpful staff. We ate in The Lea Gate in the evening, in a quiet, dog-friendly room. The icing on the cake was five other retrievers so our retriever puppy felt quite at home! The staff pointed out a lovely walk opposite the Inn. Our first trip with Bailey was a great success and we would recommend The Lea Gate Inn to all dog owners.
