My accommodation at Dunleath House was excellent. The host was very welcoming and friendly, and my room had excellent facilities including a lovely bathroom (with shower and bath) and a lovely kitchenette (with a microwave, kettle, gas hob, fridge and tea/coffee). My room was very clean and tidy, and I appreciated that I had access to an extension lead and hairdryer within the room also. It totally suited my needs for my short stay, and I would recommend any person needing accommodation in this location to stay at Dunleath House 😊

We had a wonderful stay at the Dream Catcher apartment in Dunpatrick. It truly felt like a home away from home. The apartment is finished to a very high standard and is exceptionally well equipped, with thoughtful touches such as snacks, butter, jam, and water, all the little extras that make a real difference. Linda was a fantastic host who took great care of everything and made us feel very welcome. The apartment was comfortable, warm, and inviting. We would happily stay again and highly recommend it.

The property was centrally located and was perfect for our day trip to the races. The accommodation was done to a high standard and all aspects were well thought out. We enjoyed a comfortable stay. Communication with host was informative and simplistic for access. We will definitely return to this accommodation in future with hopefully another upcoming trip!

Sarah and John were just fabulous! They were the perfect hosts! The setup here is perfect for a family or two couples. They have 2 rooms upstairs with a common area including mini-fridges and a TV in between the rooms. We ran a bit late when we drove from Dublin. Not only did they wait up for us, they gave us food recommendations for nearby. Their house is great with ample parking and family antiques for decor. The location is a bit off the beaten path but it's still near plenty of sights including Castle Ward, Inch Abbey and Tollymore Forest Park. The bathroom was very nice, as was the shower, and was so clean it felt new. Breakfast was great and it was made to order, which means we got exactly what we wanted and it tasted amazing. We will plan on a stay here again next time we are in the area!

Everything, Simone the Host was wonderful. Very helpful and what a breakfast Rhubarb from her own garden served up, gorgeous, great taste. Her house is wonderful and we look forward to visiting again. I hope the cuttings I took, take, it would be wonderful if they do. It's a pity, we didn't have enough time to see of Simone's garden, I'm sure, it was beautiful. What a fabulous bedroom and ensuite, just fab.

it’s a picturesque location in the countryside but 5 mins from Downpatrick town centre (in a car). the cottage was very quaint and clean. It was a very pleasant surprise that it is fully wheelchair accessible, even the bbq area. Everything you could need was available. the property owners were very kind and accommodating.

The St. Patrick Cathedral is marvelous and the St.

The St. Patrick Cathedral is marvelous and the St. Pat Centre is quite informative. We really enjoyed the walk to the Balleynoe Stone Circle. If we returned the Mourned would be interesting to explore. They loom in the proximity abd are quire lovely.

Downpatrick town was uninspiring but the food from Murphys Bar was tasty ,wholesome and cheap (and far more than we could eat!!) Easy reach of the Tulleymoor Forest - we had a wonderful 16K walk around taking in the spectacular Mourne scenery and some of the most magnificent trees I have ever seen. The river Shimna river running through it was spectacular. This is one not to miss

Downpatrick was the perfect location for exploring the...

Downpatrick was the perfect location for exploring the surroundings - Mount Stewart, Rowallane garden, Inch Abbey and Kearney Village. The town itself is rather bland, with very few options for a nice meal out. St.Patrick's Centre is worth a visit though! For good food head to the Dufferin Arms in Killyleagh.

Visit the museum up the road from Denvir's coaching inn. We spent a very enjoyable 2 hours or so there. After call in to the cathedral. It's really lovely. St. Patrick's grave is in the grounds. Have a drink in a 'local'. ...the Mirabelle (not sure of the name exactly) around the corner from Denvir's. The landlady is very friendly and welcoming.

Beautiful place to visit St Patricks centre and grave well worth a visit .Scenery beautiful and loads of walks .Very easy place to drive park and tourist spots well signposted.We ate in Murphys bar down beside St Patricks centre beautiful food great menu and lovely staff.

Downpatrick is a quiet quaint town.

Downpatrick is a quiet quaint town. It is between Dundalk and Belfast. It is a nice two days, one night stop or just an overnight stop. It's also not far from Strangford where Castle Ward where part of Game of Thrones was filmed, specifically the Winterfell Castle. It has lots of hiking, biking and children activities.
