Beautiful little building settled amongst the hills and valleys of county Down, on a quiet road lined with trees. The owners are a friendly, lovely couple (with equally charming dogs), they have furnished the rooms with great taste and care! A converted farm building, it retains an authentic old countryside feel, while having all the modern comforts and conveniences one could desire. The stove was lit for us upon arrival and ample firewood provided. A large bath, wonderful warm bed, comfortable leather couches, an enormous smart TV, couldn’t have asked for anything more. We were welcomed and bid farewell most warmly, and hope to get to stay again someday, thank you.

The room was complete, with milk, coffee, and tea, and snacks. The view from the room at dawn was incredible and a unique opportunity in this wonderful place that is Northern Ireland. The continental breakfast was sensational. John's service was unique and attentive. Superb! The stay was a 15-minute drive from the Game of Thrones experience. I recommend to all fans to stay at the guesthouse. Additionally, he can assist with taxi and transportation if necessary.

Comfortable, cosy and clean little cottage in a central location. My mum and I had a wonderful stay over Mother’s Day weekend and we didn’t want to leave! Hillsborough is so quaint and peaceful, and this cottage is ideal for a relaxing break on your own terms.

My daughter and I had a lovely, relaxing stay at The Byre.

My daughter and I had a lovely, relaxing stay at The Byre. It was everything that we could have asked for and more. The Byre is cosy, calm and absolutely spotless and we were spoiled with the delicious scones, sweets and beautiful fresh flowers. We had such fun playing the board games and my daughter was delighted that there was high speed WiFi and Netflix. The bath was divine and Lynn had left all kinds of scented body washes for us. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need. The Byre really is a home from home. The location is fab, a short journey into Belfast yet in beautiful, peaceful countryside. Stewart is so welcoming and kind and we loved having the chats with him. We are looking forward to going back already! Thank you so much for having us!

This is the second time we’ve been to Drummore. We came here last year in October. And we would love to come back again. This trip was too short. The people were great. The food was great. The sites were great. We loved it.

Although the address ststed is the small town of Dromore is some way away, Lurgan and Banbridge are easier to get to for shopping, The cottage is in a very rural position, away from any facilities, which added to its charm. We loved the cottage,
