The size of the room was very roomy. The staff was really helpful with suggestions about whiskey, area , restaurants, and transportation. One person was really helpful, but I can't remember the guy's name. His father was in the Royal Air Force, and he lived in Gibraltar.

Excellent staff. Best food anywhere. The cook/owner brought out amazing cake for my son with a candle on my sons birthday singing Happy Birthday to him. Enjoyed a hearty Scottish breakfast each morning, must order it.

We visited partly because of family but also because it has a lot to offer culturally and historically and is a good stepping stone to the hinterland. While the V&A is a great museum check out the McManus Art Galley and Museum. One of the best regional museums in the UK with excellent exhibitions and interpretation.

Dundee is a great place with lots of attractions to visit and enjoy. The V&A, HMS Discovery, the McManus Gallery and Verdant Works being highlights. A compact city centre with lots of interesting architecture and of course Desperate Dan! There are also plenty of good quality restaurants and friendly pubs. Add the cracking views over the Tay and you get a great, if perhaps surprising, destination for a city break.

There is a diverse choice of places to visit in Dundee and many within easy walking distance. Our fist time at the V & A and the Kimono exhibition was wonderful. The people we met were so friendly and helpful when we were looking at our map of the centre. We ate in a wonderful Turkish Restaurant called Milas just off Nethergate. We definitely needed more than a weekend to do justice to Dundee.

not technically Dundee, we actually stayed in Broughty Ferry, a neighbouring town.
The town is easily reached from Dundee, whether coming any direction. The town lay-out is quite straight forward, most of the main streets run parallel with the river Tay. Easy to keep, or retain your bearings. The main shops are all within 5 to 10 minutes of each other, so never far to walk to get shopping, plenty of variety, cafe's, restaurants, gift shops, grocery stores etc, the vast majority being smallish independent shops, only the odd one or two high street names.
Prices can be a bit higher than within Dundee, possibly due to less competition, and the fact it is a touristy town.
Dundee is about 10 minutes drive, at most, so if staying long-term, eg 1 or 2 weeks, and self catering, then big supermarkets are easily reached.
There;s enough about Broughty Ferry top keep most folk occupied and amused for a short term break, with plenty of variety for all ages.
overall, a nice place to visit, and once you've been, you'll wonder why you hadn't been before.

There are live bands in weekends in Dundee in at least 2 pubs, fun.
Cool city, ignore the bad press you may find
Walkable from the train station.
Sleeperz is a good choice for lodging it's adjacent to station and a nice, affordable accommodation too
Pool area was nice and the gym looked quite impressive. The hotel communal area was bright.
The location was central for access to Dundee’s attractions. Car parking was good as well. Lovely welcome by the reception staff. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable
loved the design throughout the whole hotel - the quirkiness and how they put the history of Dundee into the design. It was interesting to look around all the different pieces around reception and the room. it’s also a 5 min walk to city centre and local restaurants!
It served the purpose very well for us. We are. Group of friends from different parts of the country so Dundee was quite central for us all. The price and location of the hotel suited us
This is a cheap hotel(maybe the cheapest in Dundee). The staff were excellent and made sure my pregnant wife was comfortable providing extra pillows etc.
