This hotel is a hidden Gem, Donna and her team were fantastic, very warm and welcoming, I arrived a bit late but was able to order some hot food, which was fantastic value, home made and delicious, as were the other evening meals I had. The room was spotless and tastefully decorated, the en-suite was also spotless and well supplied. The room and bed were comfortable and warm. Breakfast was outstanding, a great selection and well cooked and presented. I wanted for nothing and Donna and her team made sure I had a brilliant stay. I would highly recommend this hotel, a little bit off the regular routes but well worth the effort of getting there. Also lots of parking space, and WiFi too.

The location was perfect for us. The communication with the host was excellent. We were running late to check in but they made the directions and process easy. We loved the farm. The accommodation was great and spotlessly clean. The BBQ hut was amazing and we only wished we could have stayed long enough to use it. We'll have to make another trip back!

The staff was EXCEPTIONAL. After two long days of travel & so excited about finally being at our destination, I left my purse on the train. At the hotel everyone jumped into action to help me get it back! (It was delivered to the hotel by the conductor himself.) I really cannot thank the staff enough for saving our holiday. Also, the room was spotless and cozy.

This hotel was well run.

This hotel was well run. The staff were very nice and efficient. We ate in the dining room a couple of times and really enjoyed the meals. I had the lamb burger on one night and can highly recommend it. Our room was comfortable albeit a bit small but certainly adequate for our two night stay. I d definitely recommend this hotel and would stay again

I wanted to be in this area as I was looking for a very rare bumblebee and this was very central for me to visit varies bumblebee sites. The area had a beautiful beech and the whole area seemed very clean. All the local people I spoke to were very nice and helpful. I would certainly stay here again if I were to return to this area.

Nice friendly hotel with helpful staff that obviously cared about what they were doing. A good basic room with all that you could need with plenty of soft towels and of course the tea/coffee making. The restaurant was busy but they fitted us in and the meal was first class, having eaten here before I expected nothing less.
