Beautiful surroundings and the evening meal and breakfast were exceptional. Staff couldn't have been more helpful. The room was wonderfully quiet.

Claridge House is a Victorian Quaker property that is located 1.2 miles from the village of Lingfield. Facilities include on-site parking, free WiFi and tea and coffee making facilities. EVERYTHING! We didn't make use of the free breakfast but everything else was incredible. The manager greeted us upon arrival and was so incredibly lovely and professional. One of the Quackers in the morning was introduced herself and was extremely attentive. The room was beautiful and the grounds were stunning. Waking up to the sounds of birds chirping away in the morning was bliss.

The grounds to the hotel are beautiful. For those that are sporty there is a golf course and a putting green and golf range. You can also walk around the grounds of the race course I believe. The hotel has a spa and gym with a lovely swimming pool which has lovely warm water. Our room had plenty of space nice comfy bed and the window slid back so you could open right up and get lots of fresh air. We overlooked the side of the race course and golf range. The en-suite had a massive shower which was wonderful. Breakfast -massive choice and the chef was on hand to cook you eggs of our choice. We found all the staff exceptionally helpful and very polite. The reception staff made s feel so welcome and went above and beyond to make our stay special.
