It is a beautiful resort with a very long promenade and many benches. The town is well equipped with shops and the shopping mall The Beacon, is very pleasant. A lot of roads in the centre are pedestrianised which is pleasant.
Very good location. Good look. Very good staff at the reception. Entrance is also good needs to be a bit more colourful or bright. Lifts need to be checked regularly or maintained or, needs to be improved. Some stairs had old furnitures dumped in corners and created bad impression.
A pleasant seaside town with a lovely long seafront and pebble beach. It has a pier, some nice restaurants and parks and a small modern art gallery. Also open top bus rides in the summer to nearby Beachy Head and a short drive away from 1066 Country and Brighton.
I had a lovely 24 hour stay in Eastbourne. The purpose to see the Opera at The Congress Theatre. Arriving at 2pm I parked on sea front had my lunch. I am a Blue Badge holder and found plenty of free parking. Then checked in to The Langham Hotel. What a little gem this is. Great room, great breakfast. Very friendly staff. Enjoyed so much have booked again. Had a nice walk along the prom, stopping for an ice cream. All was lovely. My only disappointment the flower beds a,o g the prom not planted up yet. May be too early. I will check when I go again in couple of weeks. All in all very enjoyable stay.
New Eastbourne well as I grew up there albeit many years ago, still like the town however the Burlington was not how I remember it as a classy hotel, (one of my friends actually worked there in the 70's)
Lovely seaside town. Lots of charm and character. Need to be fit to see it all . Nice cafes and restaurants. Also nice town centre.got a nice cuppa in independent coffee house at a reasonable price. Would be lovely in the summer months
Hydro Hotel is located in an elevated location close to the seafront in Eastbourne. Excellent views towards the sea. The Hydro has a 1920's charm with excellent decor inside and excellent smartly dressed and friendly staff. The service is excellent, I had dinner in the conservatory area, which was excellent with views over the well tendered gardens. Breakfast served in their main restaurant again excellent with plenty of staff, great choice from cold and the more important full English ... brilliant start to day
The fact there was also a bar with sea views , the barman made superb pina coladas ! The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms with sea views are worth paying the extra, waking up with the breeze and the view are priceless, the restaurant food was excellent the crab avocado and scallops starter both amazing the duo of pork main was delicious 😋 If your going to Eastbourne or want a short break in a nice hotel stay here.
Nice greeting at Reception when booking in. Room was lovely and warm when we entered it and very clean. Restaurant staff were excellent at Breakfast. The best service we have ever had in a hotel staff are very professional and friendly cannot wait to go back in the Summer as Location is very good near to Pier, shops +restaurants. Parking is available on the Seafront with a day pass costing two pounds per day from Hotel Reception.
I organised a family party to celebrate my mother's 95th birthday. All 11 of us were very pleased with the hotel. The beds were really comfortable. Breakfast and dinner was delicious. The staff were very helpful and friendly especially when my 95 year old mother had to use the wheelchair lift to get into the building and staff were very quick to come when called. The location was ideal for the promenade.

We had a lovely stay, made all the better by Bryan's helpfulness. The location is perfect for enjoying Eastbourne - very close to the sea and lovely promenade, a short walk to the town and restaurants. We parked the car and walked or used the very good bus service eg to visit Seven Sisters Country Park. Breakfast was good!

The flat is nice and very nicely decorated. It is warm and cosy, the double bed in the bedroom and the sofa bed used were both comfortable and pleasant. Overall, I would recommend this flat for a one-night visit to Eastbourne despite some wear and tear and staining present on the premise.
Eastbourne
The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The Hotel is located in a good location with the seafront and town centre a short walk away. The room was very quiet with very little noise outside. The facilities were good. Breakfast was very nice.
Disgusting, dirty, cesspool of a hotel. Yellow and skidmarked towels left on our bed, doors didn’t lock on our room. Awful awful stay at what used to be a lovely traditional Eastbourne seafront hotel. I will not be returning.
My favorite hotel by far! Beautifully decorated, modern but elegant!! In a lovely location. Spotlessly clean!! Exceptional staff! And great breakfast. Would highly recommend if you're staying in Eastbourne.
Bed linen was clean and the hotel is close to the seafront. Very little else to be positive about and not sure how it achieved its relatively good rating on booking.com.
Very nice hotel with lovely relaxing lounges. Staff were very welcoming and helpful...ten minutes walk along seafront to town centre.
Nice hotel situated close to the town centre and right across from seafront.
