This Tudor-style country house with garden views and fine dining is located 13 miles from London city center and close to the M1. Free WiFi is available throughout the property. This is probably one of my best hotel stays. The expansive lawn and lovely skyline are an absolute treat for ant travelers no matter what brings you here. Cozy ambience, extremely helpful staff and super food at the restaurant make the hotel one of the best in my opinion. The price is very reasonable and transportation from London city centre to this hotel is convenient by both public or UBER. It was only £40 by UBER to get here from London city centre.

Located in Edgware, 2.6 miles from Royal Air Force Museum, Cheap basic, no frills flat. Sleeps 6, suitable for construction workers? has a living room with a flat-screen TV. Good value for money - roomy, comfortable, warm and relaxed accommodation. Kitchen facilities with fridge and usual equipment. Large living room and front bedroom which were enjoyable spaces, as was the attic.I liked all the posters and books. Very close to Edgware tube station and high street. Owner very responsive to queries.
Lovely decor, comfy beds, parking good, reception staff helpful and friendly, bar / restaurant great atmosphere but staff miserable and unhelpful which is a shame as this was the only thing that let it down One thing that wAs an issue was that our room was next to stairs and lefts and although the door had a closer it still banged every time someone opened it. Very annoying. Did mention to reception staff.
Lovely historic building Rooms vary so choose carefully Restaurant food good but bit pricey Our double bed very small Bar snack menu available until 9.30pm - Breakfast good selection Staff friendly
Stained bed frame (white liquid) if I’m Being honest it looked like semen, dirty socks under the mattress, previous customers iPhone charger under the bed, cleaners can’t be doing a great job, the bed sheets were burnt, and the toilet was dirty and needed a good bleach. The front of house staff were useless, poor communication skills and will quite happily make you wait while they finish there conversation. poor shower pressure and everything costs you extra, booked it purely on location as we were visiting Harry Potter studios, room was unacceptable and not worth the money we paid! I won’t be in a hurry to visit again.
Once a lovely hotel which has gone downhill over the years !..staff don’t seem to have any form of communication between them asked to got the pool with a 14 year old was told they couldn’t as it was past 6.00 then spoke to another member who said it was fine , check in took 15 minutes as they couldn’t work a “new system “we were told. Website says you have to pay for leisure facilities but once again it depends who is at the reception to gym as they sometimes let you in for free however the website when booking will try to charge you ! Breakfast is very average but if you can get a deal on the room for circa 55-65 a night it’s worth it! Certainly NOT worth the fancy prices their website offers at over £90 a day ! Sad to see the place has gone downhill over the years ! All staff need training and should sing off the same hym sheet ! And not different stories at reception/restaurant/gym ! Easy fixes ! Come on village hotels get your act together! Cos we were fans !good luck !
Professional and friendly staff, clean rooms with comfort, cafe and restaurant and pub downstairs atmosphere is lovely and central with big TVs and there is a lovely gym everything you need under a roof
The house and gardens are idyllic, the views spectacular. Can't comment on dinner or breakfast but room-service food was delicious. Easy to find (with a satnav). Lovely wedding venue, I imagine. No hot water when I was there but the most exotic toilet you ever saw. Road noise is always there, but the road's invisible and somehow it cannot dent the atmosphere of olde-world peace and quiet. Not just a place to rest your head - somewhere that merits spending time.
