Nice property, well maintained and in the country side. The room was spacious ans was clean. We arrived late but owners were flexible to check us in. Nice Koi pond. The breakfast was excellent; I would definitely stay again. The owners are polite and very helpful.

Escrick it is a lovely and quiet area that allowed us to recharge and relax. It was easy to access it by local bus (415 sapphire) and it took about 20-25 min to get there from York. Close to our hotel was a gas station and also a local restaurant (Thai food).

Escrick is a small village but has a fantastic restaurant next to the hotel, a beautiful church and a filling station/Spa shop. The village is very close to York and Selby. Perfect for doing all the tourist stuff and for shopping.

Beautiful little village with a nice few walks. Not a lot of facilities but with easy access links to York and other suburban villages. If driving really good link into York. Nice Spa at the Parsonage Hotel. We stayed there so not sure on rates.

Long delay on getting food at White Swan Deighton. Food good Black bull Escrick were only serving Pizza and burger Food good at Fat Abbott Park and Ride close by to go into York Selby worth a visit

Lovely up-market little village with welcoming Village Club if you fancy a change from the hotel. Beautiful church right next door. Great bus service into and out of York, though can be quite lengthy at wrong time of day,

Escrick is a historic village and retains much of its charm.
Escrick is a historic village and retains much of its charm. The Parsonage Hotel (formerly the rectory) is adjacent to St Helen's Church which has a fascinating history. Guide booklets and information boards in the Church will make any visit interesting. Escrick Hall (now Queen Margaret's School) is situated in Escrick Park. The direct access via the Park gates is now usually closed although it is possible to get into the Park via a more circuitous route.
