With a pretty Kentish village location, just across from Eynsford Castle, local churches and shop, the Castle Hotel offers contemporary accommodations in Eynsford. Lovely clean and bright rooms. Very comfortable king bed. Dog was made very welcome. Food was so good we didn’t need to ask for a thing. Landlady very nice.
Built in 1806, this Georgian mansion is set within 12 acres of lush countryside in Kent. The staff are wonderful, very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is splendid, a good selection, served well and quickly, with plenty of tea and juice. We also ate in the restaurant twice during our stay and this did not disappoint, the hotel clearly has a good chef. We booked spa treatments, used the pool and the fantastic terrace lounge with comfortable outside furniture, a lovely secluded spot ideal for sun bathing. The waiter service in the lounge is very efficient and a very nice terrace to sit on a warm evening.
Just 5 minutes from the M25, the 19th-century Rowhill Grange is a 4 Silver Star rated hotel featuring leisure facilities and free parking. My favourite spa. Beautiful peaceful location yet close to great shopping at Bluewater. Stayed in the annexe, great room (though a little small), lovely bathroom and great food at the restaurant. Unfortunately there were no treatments available / always tend to be fully booked but enjoyed using the spa pools/jacuzzi.
Located within 5.6 mi of Ightham Mote in Sevenoaks, UPTHEDOWNS B&B features accommodations with a TV. The bed and breakfast offers a continental or Full English/Irish breakfast. Beautiful and really comfortable accommodation. Really friendly and helpful. Great breakfast setting me up for my day’s walking. Would definitely recommend it.
Located in Orpington, Love & Peace offers accommodations with free WiFi. Some units also have a kitchenette equipped with a microwave and a fridge. Very quiet and peaceful! The bed is as the other reviews said, comfy as anything! Pat is a wonderful host and runs a lovely place.
Eynsford is a very pretty Kent village, it has 4 good pubs, The Plough serves great food even on a Sunday evening. It has 2 quite quaint village shops & a traditional butchers. The Ford is very pretty & popular with children in the warm weather. There are also two churches. There is Eynsford Castle ruins for a short stroll & a short walk along the river to the viaduct. Very nearby is Lullingstone Roman Villa , definitely worth a visit & Lullingstone Castle. Plenty to do for a small village.
Beautiful and ancient village in the lush Kent countryside. It has a castle and churches. A river running through is with a beautiful ford and bridge. The neighbouring village of Farningham is also of interest. The pied bull serves delicious food, the Lion hotel is a beautiful and historic building. There is also a cooky second hand bookshop and a local butchers. One can do a lovely circular walk between the two villages across the fields with views over Eynsford. Close by is Lullington castle and its world gardens. Featured on BBC. Also a bird of prey centre. Lots of lovely walks. Great local food shops. Good few pubs to choose from.
Very pretty village with plenty of pubs, a tea room, village shop, Roman villa and a castle. Sadly not there long enough to visit all the treasures Eynsford has to offer as we were there visiting friends. Will definitely stay again.
