Not a biggy...but had to get milk and cups both days to use tea facilities in our room. No TV or Wifi was fine for us which made it a peaceful getaway.

A beautiful little recently tastefully refurbished hotel on a river. Lots of outside seating areas with a river view. Beautifully decorated inside the hotel also with lots of seating areas, our room was lovely with river view, very comfortable bed and beautiful bathroom with bath and hand held shower . All the staff were very friendly and helpful. The dinner and breakfasts were delicious .we will be back.

It was an amazing short stay. Extremely relaxing with all the home comforts that you need. The breakfast and evening meal was bespoke standard and really good. My husband would have liked a TV in our room but I was happy with the radio

Pretty much all. But we were not impressed with a ty restaurant we made use of. Took ages to serve the meals we ordered . I think they were giving their full attention to the take away side of the business!

East Rudham (near Fakenham) is a great location for...
East Rudham (near Fakenham) is a great location for exploring Norfolk. Just a few miles from the Norfolk coast and well within reach of inland sights such as Holkham Hall, Norwich or Walsingham. Most attractions are dog-friendly and finding places to eat no bother at all particularly with our hosts recommendations. Travelling around by car was easy but parking close to the popular beaches at the weekend was somewhat more challenging.

Fakenham is a small market town with not much going on. It's main attraction is its location just off the A148, the road that links Kings Lynn with Cromer. As a result, all the attractions of north Norfolk are within reach.

It was quite central to the beaches.
It was quite central to the beaches. We visited Cromer, had fish and chips at no 1 fish and chip shop, which was very nice. We drove up to Snettersham and looked at a little antique shop where we had an amazing breakfast, service was quick and the staff were super. Good value for money and pet friendly too.
