Everything...staff were wonderful, and sooo helpful, accommodation fantastic and breakfast delicious..best scrambled eggs lve ever tasted ..and lm a chef 🙂
For any accommodate check maps because sat nav could take you for miles around country lanes and tracks. Pubs providing accommodation might have been a better bed than a b&b in the middle of nowhere which sat nav could not pick up or cope with a road being closed. This is not the location for a business traveller seeking overnight accommodation.
Fersfield is a (very) small village but great whilst visiting family in Diss. Used it as a base to visit Southwold (coast), The Broads and Cambridge - each about an hour away by car. Plenty of reasonable Gastropubs in the area.
Fersfield is a lovely little place set in beautiful countryside..great for some peace and quiet yet not far from attractions such as Banham Zoo which is approx 15 minutes away. The Kings Head at North Lopham is 10 minutes away - we had two lovely home-cooked meals there.
Great place to stay..the room I stayed in was very well appointed. The service was excellent, the breakfast even better! Customer service is defiantly at the top of the list. Big chains could learn a lot from this place. You will need a car it is out in the sticks, but then that is why it is so peaceful :)
The beautiful countryside, peaceful. The welcome we received and letting us arrive early because of our other plans. They provide brochures on all the attractions and Paul also talked to us about the local area as well. Well signposted which we didn't expect due to very rural locality.
A Really Lovely quiet area. The Bed & Breakfast was not in Fersfield, but about 1 mile away in a quiet Country Lane. Fersfield is very small, only about 15 houses and barns. There was a very nice pub about 2 miles away which served good food and drink.
