This was an excellent hotel. I had a warm welcome, it was very relaxing after a long journey. My room was beautifully and tastefully furnished. I had a great night’s sleep on the most comfortable mattress ever. Breakfast was plentiful and discreetly served.

We stopped here as a midway point on a 6.5 hour drive to cornwall. But so glad we did! Lovely find! Right in the centre of town. Hosts were so welcoming and we had everything we needed! Breakfast was amazing with a great relaxed atmosphere. I can't rate it enough!

Stunning and unique countryside chateau - atmospheric charm galore … a real homely experience ( as opposed to hotel ) thanks to the lovely host Caro who clearly pays attention to the details of guest experience and is very interesting to talk to. + our twin room had a lovely epic view of the nature through the classical windows + sink in room very convenient + en-suite bathroom with great shower + breakfast made to order was delicious and plenty of coffee / tea / juice on offer + mattress was firm and good pillows which I appreciate these days + nice snacks and tea making in the room + free Wifi worked well for us + free parking onsite no problems + Artistic charm in the house with artwork and wallpapers and large black and white photos of Africana
