Small village, not a commercialized place. We ate The Ship Inn,The Viking Hotel, and The Headlands restaurant. Good home cooked food at all locations, good range of local ales. Excellent service at all. We had trouble finding a table one day, so would recommend pre-booking. Easy access to the coast; walks to other beaches, and local attractions (such as the light house) are also within walking distance. Bridlington is more commericalised, and is in easy reach either by driving or by bus.

The whole experience of using Happy Days was very good from start to finish. We would highly recommend staying in this location to everyone, and the host Sharon was more than helpful and was in contact several times during our few days to make sure we were ok Thank you Sharon

There are two pubs in the village although one was closed when i was there. I stayed here to walk Bempton cliffs and Flamborough head and to see the sea birds and scenery. I was blown away by the spectacular beauty of the clifftop walks. There were quite a few Puffins and also Seals at Flamborough head. The walk from the B&B is a simple straight road around 20 minutes to the start of the walks. or you could drive up there and pay to park your car. Flamborough is small but there is a chippy and and a few shops and also a co op a few streets from the B&B, There is also a clifftop cafe which was very welcome after a long walk.

Wonderful place, £2.80 to park all day, toilets and lovely little beach with lots of rocky bits to explore, the walks along the cliffs are stunning, especially when the birds are nesting. Could spend hours just sitting and watching them.

Nice friendly place, most establishments required payment by cash, it was unclear where to find an ATM. Finally found a co-op tucked away down a street. Nice pubs especially The Ship. Good chip shop but long queues. Pleasant walk to The Viking.

We didn’t get enough time to explore the surrounding area so missed the opportunity to visit all that was on offer. However, what we did achieve we were very impressed by- great walking, several great pubs in Flamborough with excellent food, as well as the beachside and car park cafes. Would love to spend more time here.
