Very clean, cosy, and comfy. Stayed here to go visit the Fairy Glen and then hike the Old Man of Storr. Both were perfectly comfortable either on foot or with public transport. The house is less than 5 minutes from the bus stop and the harbour which is ideal if you, like me, need to catch a ferry in the morning.

The room was in a great location, with a view of the sea and hills (and the sunset). We were greeted by a lovely and friendly golden retriever as we parked the car. The room is spacious, includes mini-fridge, glasses and cups, kettle, hair dryer etc. so all the essentials. I would further recommend to anyone staying in the Isle of Skye.

Flashader is remote with about six houses spread along a...

Flashader is remote with about six houses spread along a quiet road. There are nice walks including a path to the seashore which is lovely. You need a car to get to shops, pubs, fish and chips. The best place for shopping is Portree. But Dunvegan village also has some shops. , Both are about 20 minutes away from Flashader. Edinbane is 5 minutes away and has a good pub with a very good restaurant.

Lovely peaceful setting with quiet private decking area to sit out. Although it was help yourself buffet breakfast, Morag had gone out of her way to ensure there was everything you might need, and then some!
