Very nice room and comfortable beds. Hosts were nice and hospitable. Overall a great stay. The location is excellent for visiting the major sights and their communal room is amazing with a fireplace and a nice view of the lake and surroundings. Breakfast was great as well!

10 stars. I arrived a few hours before opening because I had a flat tire, and they were immediately very kind, giving me my room hours early, helping me communicate with the mechanic, and even worrying for the next few days if I'd resolved the situation, always with a smile and as if I were their family. On top of that, the room was comfortable, welcoming, and spotlessly clean, and the restaurant was also delicious (and we Italians don't say that easily). Over the past two years, I've been to Finland, Iceland, Mauritius, Hawaii, Portugal, and Sweden, and this was probably the best place I've ever been, go there!

Outstanding Hotel. I couldn’t fault the service or facilities. The staff were helpful, friendly and attentive. Rooms are excellent, and well cleaned each day; with just those little extra touches many hotels forget. We will definitely be staying again.

The staff was very helpful- one gentleman showed me how to get to the parking lot. There was a team of three managing breakfast, which was phenomenal. We loved this hotel and will come back here if/when we return to the Isle of Skye.

Flashader is remote with about six houses spread along a...

Flashader is remote with about six houses spread along a quiet road. There are nice walks including a path to the seashore which is lovely. You need a car to get to shops, pubs, fish and chips. The best place for shopping is Portree. But Dunvegan village also has some shops. , Both are about 20 minutes away from Flashader. Edinbane is 5 minutes away and has a good pub with a very good restaurant.

Lovely peaceful setting with quiet private decking area to sit out. Although it was help yourself buffet breakfast, Morag had gone out of her way to ensure there was everything you might need, and then some!
