We had a magical stay at Greshornish house, we could not have asked for more. Incredibely warm welcome, with local sweets and personal recommendations to do in Skye by the owners. This welcoming family-run hotel had everything we needed, they thought about everything that a guest would ever need. Perfect breakfast was included in the price, where they made sure to take care and be prepared for our allergies. The lounge area was cosy with a fireplace and it had a large snooker table as well, the diner was beautiful. Everything high quality and carefully chosen in the hotel. Amazing experience for a family-run hotel(: Would recommend for anyone!

Flashader is remote with about six houses spread along a...

Flashader is remote with about six houses spread along a quiet road. There are nice walks including a path to the seashore which is lovely. You need a car to get to shops, pubs, fish and chips. The best place for shopping is Portree. But Dunvegan village also has some shops. , Both are about 20 minutes away from Flashader. Edinbane is 5 minutes away and has a good pub with a very good restaurant.

Lovely peaceful setting with quiet private decking area to sit out. Although it was help yourself buffet breakfast, Morag had gone out of her way to ensure there was everything you might need, and then some!
