United KingdomWe had a wonderful stay at Sixteen B. The apartment was spotlessly clean, cosy, and comfortable, with everything we needed for our stay. It’s located in a peaceful village but still within close proximity to York city centre, making it ideal for both relaxing and exploring.
Olga was an excellent host — very attentive and responsive, regularly checking in to make sure everything was okay and if we needed any top-ups. We felt well looked after.
We would definitely stay again and highly recommend Sixteen B to others. Thank you, Olga, for a great stay.

United KingdomRooms were very good, had all basic facilities you would need, including electrci kettle. Hot breakfast was a bonus. The staff was very efficient to manage breakfast at peak times. Location was also convinient and taking uber to get into the city was much cheaper compared to bus fares for a family of 4. Overall, excellent experience. Highly recommend.

Flaxton is a small village - very pretty and well kept.
Flaxton is a small village - very pretty and well kept. Even though the Thompson Arms is just outside the village, it is obviously very popular with the locals, and has a lively and friendly clientele. We were made to feel most welcome.

Great for a one night stay. Room was very clean comfortable bed tea and coffee available in room. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming. We were going to a wedding a couple of miles up the road he provided taxi survices knowing we would struggle to get one late at night. Breakfast was a full English. This is a good value for money bed and breakfast, if you are looking for a 5 star hotel with full facilities then this is not the place. You get great accomodation a lovely pub great hosts.

We booked a room in the pub but received a free upgrade into one of the cottages when we arrived which was a nice surprise. The cottage had everything we needed for our one night stay and was very cosy. We had a drink in the pub which was very friendly. Would definitely stay again if in the area

The lodges were beautiful overlooking the lake. We had three for a family reunion. Very clean and well equipped. Everyone enjoyed the use of the hot tubs. The site staff were amazing and very helpful

The location was excellent and the accommodation was comfortable, clean and good value for money. It was peaceful and well situated in terms of access to those things we went to Yorkshire to see.
