One of the finest places I've ever stayed, made even better by the genuine kindness of David and Liam. Every now and then you come across a place that's so special you almost want to keep it a secret. The Riverbarn in Fonthill Bishop is one of those places. From the moment I arrived, David and Liam made me feel incredibly welcome. Their warmth, kindness and genuine hospitality are second to none, and it's immediately obvious how much they care about every guest who stays with them. They have a rare gift for making you feel completely at home while still delivering an experience that feels truly special. The Riverbarn itself is exceptional. Beautifully designed, immaculately presented and set in such a peaceful location, it's the perfect place to switch off and recharge. Every detail has been thoughtfully considered, and the care and pride they have put into creating it shines through in every corner. Breakfast deserves a special mention too-it was absolutely outstanding. Fresh, beautifully prepared and one of the best I've had while staying away. It was the perfect start to each day and another example of the thought and effort that goes into making every guest's stay memorable. The guys have absolutely hit the ball out of the park. They've created so much more than somewhere to stay-they've created an experience that makes you feel genuinely looked after from beginning to end. If you're considering staying anywhere in or around Fonthill Bishop, do yourself a favour and look no further. The Riverbarn is one of those rare places that exceeds every expectation, and David and Liam are the kind of hosts you'll remember long after you've left. I can't recommend it highly enough, and I already know I'll be back.
