Cosy First Floor Flat in Central Forfar is located in Forfar, 7 miles from Glamis Castle, in an area where hiking can be enjoyed. It features city views and free WiFi throughout the property. It was so comfortable and spotlessly clean, would highly recommend it.
The Loft at Glenquiech is located in Forfar, 12 miles from Glamis Castle, in an area where hiking can be enjoyed. I stayed in the Loft during my quarantine prior to a business meeting and enjoyed my time here a lot! The landscape is wide and open, you can walk for miles through and across the glens. The loft offered everything I needed. The landlady and lord were extremely welcoming and made me feel like at home. They gave me complete privacy, but also cared much more than ordinary about my wellbeing. I will not forget my stay here and highly recommend everyone to spend time in The Loft at Glenquiech!

Located in Forfar in the Angus region and Glamis Castle reachable within 7 miles, Karon's Caravan has accommodations with free WiFi, a playground, a restaurant and free private parking. Everything was great! Karen herself was lovely! Met us on arrival, let us know where everything was, told us everything we needed to know about the caravan, location was great, caravan was so clean, nothing out of place, so good we can't wait to go back!
I love Forfar. The folk are so friendly. Like most places, there’s been a lot of development in the area and a lot of new faces but everything is still within walking distance, supposing you’re fit for it. I love the West End bar where the staff and clientele make you and your four legged escort welcome. Alas, Frank’s is not what it once was. Lots of the multinationals in town now but the independent retailers are just holding their own. Shop local!
A small town feel. Core area very walkable and filled with specialty shops and tasty restaurants. Major grocery Shopping available right in town at ASDA. Usually next day service from Amazon Warehouse about 10 miles away. 30 minutes from beaches and 30 minutes to mountain. Enjoy many hiking trails and nearby Castle visits Like Glamis Castle famous for its setting in Shakespeare’s McBeth.. Less than 19 miles from the large major city of Dundee filled with shops, museums , restaurants and events.
Lovely friendly staff made me welcome.Accommodation lovely & clean highly recommended to future guests.Great night’s sleep even though it had a night club I never heard a thing.Beautiful big terrace excellent place to stay

Stayed in forfar a few times over the years. Lovely place but because of covid 19 things were just beginning to open up. There were a few pubs with beer gardens which was great. We had our evening meal delivered to our lodge for 3 nights from chapter and verse. Cant fault the food and the delivery guy and people taking our order were fantastic.
Lovely centrally located hotel with free car parking at the rear. Room was beautiful and immaculately clean. Great outdoor terrace ( suntrap) to relax of an afternoon. We had a lovely evening meal and the breakfasts were fab. Staff were attentive and friendly and couldn’t do enough for you. We’ll definitely recommend and return. Top marks to Mo , Laura and Bella for all their help.
Quiet site 5 mins car journey from Forfar. The caravan was fantastic. Well equipped, brilliantly clean. Iron, clothes horse and washing machine to use. Wee ensuite in main bedroom, shower powerful. Had to call owner to pinpoint site, and she was very helpful and friendly. I would definitely recommend and If visiting the area again in the future I would use again.
Nice and clean and can take dog. Great for couple days break. Owner is really lovely. Kids loved the swings at restaurant play area. 5 min drive to Mac Donald’s ,kfc and great pub dunnichen stone where we could take dog in. Not far from Aldi too for food. Noise from motorway didn’t bother us as we live on main road at home.
Had all the facilities and more than we needed, spacious & perfect for us as a family The owners were friendly with great communication throughout booking and great local knowledge of the area. Making us feeling really welcome
