Lovely location if a little remote. We ate in the hotel restaurant. A good choice of food. Hotel right on shores of Loch Ness. A lovely 13 mile or so drive along the shore to Inverness and equal distance across countryside to Fort Augustus.
We ate at the hotel both nights of our stay and food excellent. Our room was very comfortable and warm. Staff were very informative about local knowledge and approachable in anything you wanted. Great base for travelling around highlands. Easy parking and directions given to hotel fantastic. Looking forward to my next stay.
Peaceful location with superb views over Loch from gardens, sitting room and dining area. Short walk takes you down to Loch side. Other guests were friendly and as a single female I felt very comfortable which was reassuring Hosts are just lovely people who make sure you feel welcomed and are happy to provide you with local knowledge etc. Will be an annual retreat for myself from now on. Hi
Lovely hotel off the beaten track so nice and peaceful, lots of wildlife roam freely in the garden. Loch Ness visible from the dining room which was lovely. Hosts were attentive and all food cooked fresh to order.
The location, comfort , hospitality and the massive breakfast!! Stunning views from our bedroom and from the decking area of Loch Ness . We were given complimentary drinks on arrival which was totally unexpected! My husband was also offered a “wee dram” by Terry on checking out the bar but was just a little early in morning but will definitely hold him to it on our next visit !! Amazing find and excellent value for money .
We like to be in a busy place but Foyers is quite remote. The place is very beautiful but too quiet for me and my wife. If you want a peaceful and relaxing holiday Foyers would be great. Over all we had a great stay due to the hosts being down to earth and we had great conversations but we felt a little isolated due to there not being a lot of restaurants etc; Sadly we wouldn't stay again but I must say we did have a great time with the hosts.
Very nice, clean room with a stunning view of the famous Loch Ness and the sunset. The highlight, however, belongs to the hosts - absolutely incredible and going above and beyond to accommodate our needs. After a long day of hiking, we arrived late to the Foyers Roost but were warmly welcomed and fed before going to bed. Couldn't recommend it more highly! Bonus: all the fluffy cat cuddles!
Foyers
Wow!!! The views are breathtaking, we could never tire of looking over Loch Ness. The lodge is just beautiful, comfy and clean - there is everything you need. We will be coming back without a doubt. Added bonus was the local pub just a 4 min walk away with a great selection of food and drinks.
Foyers
As there was a race on and we couldn't leave the property till late and the email came in after our time that we could cancel so we didnt stay to get breakfast. Nothing to do with the hotel or the family just not what we hoped for that weekend on our short time away.
