It lives up to its billing - it is a hotel of distinction and very spacious, We had a large modern recently refurbished bedroom with fine cotton linen. Great breakfast in large conservatory. Wonderful views and grounds and lots of parking. No road noise and as bedrooms are separated from the main function rooms, it is wonderfully quiet. Definitely recommend a visit

Excellent service, everybody had a smile and were happy to help. Great value for money. The facilities were excellent, rooms were clean,very well appointed with the quality of furnishings being excellent. Would thoroughly recommend in a heart beat!

A really beautiful barn, super clean, lovely comfy bed and very pleasant surroundings. It was very peaceful, which really helped with a good night’s rest. Close to Buxted with some nice pubs and just lovely countryside around you.

Beautiful accommodation in a beautiful part of East Sussex.

Beautiful accommodation in a beautiful part of East Sussex. Rooms far nicer than the photos suggest. Our room had mezzanine bedroom, and living room area downstairs, just lovely. Patio area to the back, couldn't have asked for more. Easy check in and check out, and they were able to accommodate around our timing outside of normal check in times. We went to wedding nearby and the BlackBoys were able to help out with local taxi firms so everything went really smoothly. It's a shame the pub is closed Mondays and Tuesdays, was looking forward to a pint of Harvey's!
