This was our second stay at Thyme Lodge 2BR with hot tub and sauna near Black Mountain — this time at the request of our daughter, who was celebrating her 11th birthday. 🎉 The lodge is absolutely wonderful — a perfect place to relax, unwind, and recharge. The bed is super comfortable, and everything you could possibly need is provided to make you feel right at home (only better!). The view from the window is breathtaking, and the sound of the nearby stream adds a magical sense of peace. Whether you want to curl up with a book, soak in the hot tub, or head out to explore and conquer the nearby peaks — this is the perfect place for you. Thank you so much — we’ll definitely be back! xx

By far one of the nicest properties we have stayed at. The owners, Helen and Matthew were welcoming ,friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. The property has been lovely restored with attention given to making sure our stay was perfect. Many extras were provided including: treats for late night munchies, bottled water, milk for tea/coffee, luxury toiletries in case you forgot anything and large fluffy towels. The breakfast included lots of options : fresh fruit, cheese, meats and hot dishes. My avocado toast was overflowing with deliciousness . We only stayed one night but wish we could have stayed longer.

Love the farm setting. Nigel & Jane were wonderful and very hospitable hosts. Large ground floor room was very clean, well-appointed and comfortable, and the bigger bed was certainly welcomed. Great choice over breakfast with views of the garden. Parking close to the entrance made it easier with the rain. The donkeys are a real feature for we city folk. Thanks heaps for the stay.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at Cilbrwyn and it was a truly exceptional experience. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly greeted by Bob and Olha, who made us feel right at home. The room was comfortable and immaculate with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Cilbrwyn is a 140-year-old property that has been lovingly restored by Bob to an amazing level. The attention to detail in every aspect of the property is truly remarkable and adds to the charm and character of the place. Bob and Olha are wonderful hosts who go above and beyond to ensure their guests have a memorable stay. Their warmth and hospitality are second to none, and we felt like part of the family during our time at Cilbrwyn. The location of the property is perfect for exploring the beautiful Swansea Valley and surrounding areas, with the Brecon Beacons and Gower Peninsula within easy reach. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and provided the perfect end to our stay. The view from the breakfast table was breathtaking and added to the overall experience. We cannot recommend Cilbrwyn highly enough and look forward to returning in the near future. Thank you Bob and Olha for an unforgettable stay!
