Great hotel, staff were attentive and lovely. I don’t think I have anything negative to say about the hotel. The only downside was that we booked online and weren’t aware we had been putin the attic room. The room was lovely, but being disabled the walk to it was challenging for me. Had the booking website been clearer, I would have not booked this room. However, this is not the fault of the hotel, which I couldn’t recommend enough.

My trip was to meet up with friends who lived near the hotel.
My trip was to meet up with friends who lived near the hotel. I love Hastings and the sea front but it was pouring on my visit. The hotel food if lovely and worth the money. I drove to Hastings so not sure of how easy it is to get around. I found my navigation system worked fine and rerouted me on the easy way to get around the town.

We decided to try the local restaurant in the next village called Pett = the restaurant/pub is called The Two Sawyers - highly recommended for service and quality of the food = the other restaurant is in Old Hastings- Bella Napoli on the seafront - great authentic Italian food and a great menu. Both were about 10 minutes drive from Guestling.

Clean pleasant guest house with a very attentive host,nothing was too much trouble, evening meals were limited due ti COVID situation .choice of breakfast was excellent with the home made bread being the star, situated on the main road from rye to hastings

Really good hotel with lots of attention paid to guests' needs and safety in time of Covid. We had our own dining room (as in didn't share with other guests) and individual details on food and other things were discussed.
