Complete chaos checking in, waited for about 3 hours, in the early hours. Massive queue for lift. Spent about 3 hours only in the room.
This newly refurbished 4-star Manchester Airport hotel is superbly located within the airport complex, and within 20 minutes’ drive of Manchester city center.

Booked for one night because we had an early flight from T1.
Booked for one night because we had an early flight from T1. Ideal location for airport. Hotel and room were very nice. Restaurant was very good. Reasonably priced for location and convenience of airport.
Staff was friendly but check in slow.
Booked the room with sofa bed. Very big room. Good facilities
Didn’t ask for it to be made up before check in but bedding was provided quickly and delivered while we were at the restaurant
Disappointed that bedding was just dumped on the sofa bed. Had to put the duvet cover on myself
Restaurant was very nice, exceptional service and good food Had burger and chips.
Short walk to T1 but would not like to do it with a lot of luggage.
Overall, would stop again if I had an early flight or late arrival

Disappointing.
Disappointing. Convenience is main advantage and the pool that I didn’t use.
Room tired
Crack in sink
Round pin plug on standard lamp
Needs a hand rail to assist getting out of bath
Toiletries dispenser over bath is away from shower and too high to use while sitting in bath
Tripped over bathroom doorway as floor uneven
Room phone didn’t work. Reception couldn’t replace or fix. No direct number to room service otherwise
Bed looked crumpled
Room service limited. No breakfast before 630. Only pizza available at that time from room service. Main room service ends at 10.30 pm.
I recommend the lemon brûlée
Fries dry and hard.

Maybe we arrived at wrong time , we had a delayed flight very tired missed last train home stayed at Raddison Manchester Airport several times and headed straight there , staff said hotel full not a single room available this was on a Tues evening around 9 pm I asked can they recommend a hotel they sai there are 2 hotels just outside terminal two now after saying O was a Raddison member and I am 72 years of age and my wife is 66 years old I would of thought they could of rang the hotels instead of us tired customers tracing with luggage around Terminals, anyway off we went got close to exit met a lady who was also tired of walking and she said all hotels are fully booked because of a convention, but found one with a few rooms left , she booked with Booking .com so I went on there site put in Manchester Airport and up came Raddison with rooms vacant so we went back to Raddison and I showed the girl tha all I had to do was press the pay button and would get a room and she again said but we are full ,then she said wait one moment and went into the office and came out and said okay pay for the room with Booking .com and we will give you a room. I was not impressed, we went to the room and sai oh know it was directly opposite a lift with a voice telling you mind the doors are closing , we went inside and again it was a oh know a attatched room with a door leading into next room, but we were so tired we showered and went to bed took a while to go to sleep with other people getting out of lift chatting and the voice of lift, but fell asleep then we were woken at 4AM by an alarm from next room someone getting up I guess eventually we went back to sleep cost of unpleasant room and position £239 just for room, what should it of been £95 I rate it as very poor, will we stay again no not after the way we were treated at the desk, and where we were put.

I've used the Clayton Hotel in the past when travelling abroad.
It's handy for Manchester airport terminals. They have free courtesy bus which will drive you to any of the terminals.
The rooms are clean, tidy, and comfortable. The staff are very helpful and friendly. The food is good, they serve a nice pint .
Was a nice surprise that the mini fridge was included in the price. The staff gave our, at the time, 7 month old son a little foam plane that he loved!
The room service was good and the food was also nice. If we fly from Manchester again, we will definitely be staying at the hotel again!
No breakfast, just an overnight to meet friends off a flight. If I was looking for a hotel next time I go on holiday from Manchester or meet someone again I will definitely use the Ibis. The staff were more than helpful.
Hotel in general very good. Perfect location for travelers from Manchester Airport. Clean, very friendly stuff. Just price for parking bit nonsense, It should be included in room price. 16 pound for one night...
