I stayed in this property before and as always, everything about it is spotless! Kat is a very kind host and knowing I’m a plant based, she welcomed me with a bowl of fruit and oat milk in the fridge 🥰it was awesome! I’m highly recommending it! Close to restaurants, stores and just a 10 minute walk to the beach.

Great central place to stay we used local bus to st Ives and the next day used local bus to Penzance great way to see surroundings and let someone else do driving, this way we didn’t have to worry about finding a parking place
Loved the little town with many facilities.A few local pubs and a really nice fish and chip shop .Cornish Arms a lovely pub with beautiful food and a beer garden ,staff were very good too .A couple of big supermarkets for people who are staying self catering to stock up .
Would recommend Sunday roast at the Cornish Arms in Hayle. The long stretch of beach from the estuary to the Towans is great for a walk but it was difficult to find a car park which was open in January. Porthkidney Beach on the opposite side of the Estuary is beautiful with access by S W coast path by the side of St Uny church but parking is very limited. Catching the train along the St Ives branch line has spectacular views of the bays and coasts.
The walks around Navax and Godrevy Points were great with the scenery and the hundred-plus seals on the coves beneath the coastal path. Gwithian had a nice beach bar with spoonbills flying over at dusk. The long beaches from Hayle Towans towards Gwithian were great at low tide; not crowded, dog-friendly and with a dune path behind them.
Best thing about Hayle is watching the tide come in and out and the boats sitting on the bottom when the tide is out. When the weather is good, it's a lovely place to be. A visit to St Ives, by train, is highly recommended on a sunny day and the drive to Lands End was well worth it. absolutely spectacular coastline. And don't miss any opportunity to eat a Philps Pastie!
there was allsorts to do in the area but we mainly headed out of town, Hayle is in a central spot to head out from and as we were visiting did not go in the town much It is small but I think spread out. If it had not been raining so much then we might have looked around more
