Heswall
Located just 5 minutes' drive from Heswall's town center, the 19th century Thornton Manor is a stunning Grade-II Elizabethan country house. Absolutely fabulous stay. The receptionist was very helpful directing us to the office after we got lost. Carl & a staff member very kindly showed us our cottage and showed how to work the heating & hot tub. The place was spotless, comfortable beds and it was also really quiet. All crockery was supplied with Tea, coffee sugar & milk. Beautiful furniture all round. It stated shared bathroom & kitchen but we had our own inside our cottage. Beautiful grounds with lovely walks. I will definitely return here and highly recommend to anyone.

We went to a wedding at The Manor in Thornton Hough so didn't actually see much of Heswall only staying one night at The Jug and Bottle. We found the hotel easily as it was signposted. We thought Heswall looked a lovely place and was very clean looking.

Heswall is one of the main community/shopping centres on the Wirral Peninsula. Heswall alone - or indeed any of the other settlements on the Wirral - would not occupy most people long, or even for a short-stay. But, taken together, and being well-connected by road, rail and ferry to nearby Liverpool, Chester and rural north Wales, they offer a set of remarkably interesting and contrasting destinations for a week's stay - or even longer. The locations include contrasting landscapes and seascapes, to great ranges in wealth, architecture and lifestyles of communities, and similarly varied industries and histories, and places of interest.
I have worked in Heswall in the past it's easy access to walk down by the River Dee and other local walks not to far to go to Liverpool by car or bus . Nice restaurants a lovely part of the Wirral..
Plenty of restaurants, cafes and bars. M & S food store. Useful shops. Small parks. Handy for trips out. We ate at :- Jug and Bottle. A must to visit. Gustos. Lovely. The Boathouse, Parkgate. Beautiful views down by the estuary. Super.

It was just great from start to finish - excellent food for dinner - so pleased that we booked a table as it was busy - good bedroom, comfy bed and the breakfast was insanely good - what a great place - no where else to stay in Heswall - great recommendation from a friend and wish them all the success in the world for their business moving forward - so lovely
Heswall
The hotel itself was lovely and the location was good - down a quiet, country lane with ample free parking. We were visiting family on the Wirral and booked two double rooms, they were large, clean and quiet, and the beds were comfortable. Good value for money.
Breakfast was lovely. The room I stayed in was clean and the staff was very welcoming. The spa facilities was amazing. Would definitely stay at this hotel again in the near future.
